By all accounts Stinespring was a a good dude and a good OL/TE coach. Glad he's getting paid to work...and glad he's not calling plays for us anymore.

I did not watch Bugs Bunny growing up. I lived Bugs Bunny growing up! The episode with the bull was my absolute favorite Bugs Bunny too. Although I think my absolute favorite Looney Tune was the one where Daffy Duck was Robin Hood and Porky Pig was Friar Tuck.
Amen- 90 minutes every Saturday morning- best cartoons ever in my opinion. And humor on both child and adult level as ell as many kids' first and sometimes only exposure to classical music! Kill the rabbit!

That's a JOKE, son... That poor little chick took a lot of bombast, but back again next week.
One of my fave Foghorn Leghorn episodes was the one 'Little Boy Boo where he babysat Miss Prissy's nerdy son Egghead, Jr.; Foghorn hides in the feedbox, but using a slide rule and a shovel, Egghead Jr. finds the rooster underground and digs him up despite the fact that Egghead is at a considerable distance from the feedbox. Flabbergasted at how the chick accomplished this, Foghorn decides not to look in the feedbox, declaring "No, I better not look. I just might be in there."

Great hire for Roanoke College! Living in the valley, I am much more likely to go check out a game with him as coach. Also seems like a nice golden parachute gig for Stiney, good for him.
I would not necessarily say golden, but a parachute nonetheless. I am pretty sure Roanoke is DIII so I would guess the head man would not be making much more than a couple hundred thousand or possibly even less than that.
That is waay more than plenty in the Roanoke valley each year. Could easily live on 40%(maybe less) of that and then just do whatever with the rest so that that he and his family are set for a long time.
Agreed. When a couple of hundred thou won't get you through in the 'Noke, you have spending problems.
Doubt it is anywhere close to that. Guessing maybe $100-120K max, depending on how serious RC is about becoming competitive.
Randolph Macon has dominated the ODAC recently because they invest heavily in football. I wouldn't be shocked if they moved up to DII at some point. Guilford has been atrocious forever (except when Junior Lord played for them), and Averett and Ferrum have struggled since they joined the league.
Also, Washington & Lee can sit on nails.
