At the very least nd/stanford makes the most sense (or nd/bc). Or is that "quasi-racist" since they play for a bedazzled trophy representing cultural oppression, or better described as the resistance to cultural oppression (which I could see as distasteful).
I do appreciate fsu hatin on the primetime in the aftermath but are they all flying over for the game or is Tallahassee actually an Irish hotbed that I'm just not aware of?
No NFL team is moving to Europe until commercial supersonic travel is back. Think about an NFL travel, how is Jags going to play a home game then travel to west coast for game or even Midwest for Thursday night game? Or teams traveling to London for a game home next week, or wild card game with week notice?

It is pretty funny relatively, it's not that much different than Miami or Syracuse to Palo Alto maybe it s a bit of conditioning. My cynicism says it's just a money grab but I guess if it works who am I to disagree?

Looks as if it has the support of several corporate sponsors and attendance has averaged over 41K in attendance at the game. Aer Lingus was announced as the title sponsor for the game starting in 2016, along with Irish American Events Limited (IAEL), which is a joint venture between Corporate.ie and Anthony Travel, Tourism Ireland, Failte Ireland and the Dublin City Council also lending support. I don't see actual payouts but it does appear it's well backed so would expect its either profitable or at least is a break even situation with the similar atmosphere of a bowl game for the players to experience. Found reference that says the 2023 game had a $10M price tag( Article on Nebraska )to put on. Another article said the 2023 game was expected to have a €147M impact to the Irish economy. Article here
