As noted by the OP, the Ladies play Rutgers Sunday at 5:30. The game is on FS1. Rutgers is 6-7 with all the wins coming at home.
Gonna be busy today and tomorrow. I'll put the tables here. And if I get time later, I'll add some commentary. Just one note: Mya Petticord started the first six games and has not played since. She's still on the roster on their website; but the write-up for their last game said everyone on the roster played and she did not play.
Stats:
This should be another game to play a lot of players and try out different lineups.

if this was during RU fts near the end of the second quarter, it was absolutely hokietopher with the LET'S GOs and me with the HOKIES across the court at each other

fun to watch the team gel before our eyes. Early season it looked like last years core with mismatched pieces. The last few games, but this one especially, you can really see the players finding their footing and cohesiveness. Go Hokies!

22 assist on 29 made FG. The team is being unselfish and from their faces are genuinely happy for each other. They are coming together right here before the ACC schedule.

Strack is gonna be a good player but the game hasnt slowed down for her yet. Rutgers did pretty much all their stuff by trying to get inside and she was willing to get right into the battle down low

The getting inside played a big part in the charity stripe opportunities. The foul differential wasn't crazy (22 VT - 17 R) but free throws was (9-14 vs 26-34). Hokies went 17-37 from outside.

Yup, it didnt feel super one sided on the officiating, but there were a few ticky tack ones on us
(specifically one on King for a reach where she only got the ball and another on Amoore (her third?) where she and Brooks were perplexed)
