I bet the "my dad can beat up your dad" conversations were fun for this kid in elementary school. Also, "my mom is hotter than your mom." Interesting juxtaposition, that.
He might not want to tell the basketball team that his dad can beat their dad
Someone might Rech his dad....
Not getting the reference - more info?
His dad is a world famous ufc/mma fighter and his mom is a model
yeah that'll work. hi felicia!
He must work out...
Think Galen Scott would've said hi?
She's definitely qualified.
Hokies were 81.2% likely to get the commit.
Nobody else was close.
Most "interesting" recruit in this class. He is too small to play QB at this level. Do we move him elsewhere? Or did we strike lighting in a bottle with Todd Reesing ? Or hit the mega millions with Flute or Brees?
Tyrod was always listed at 6'0" but at the combine ended up at 5'11", same as Davi. If he can play, he can play.
Basically just saying I hope we hit the mega millions like Flute or Brees.
Call me slightly skeptical that he is 5'11. I'll leave it at that
I met Tyrod DT a couple times and he was taller than me and I land at 5'11".
We could move him to WR, kind of reminds me of Danny Coale for some reason.
real gym rat, huh?
First one in, last one out kinda guy
Remember when Steph Curry was too small to play VT Basketball......
Watching his recruiting film and his posts since committing...I'm most excited about him. Think he has the potential to be a big time player for us. Plus, I love the swag.
Plus, if there's a bench clearing brawl, dude gonna take out half the opposition by himself
Wasn't it Remember the Titans when the QB told the lineman to let a guy through and wound up flipping him and the ref called "unnecessary roughness" and they were like "on the QB? C'mon ref"
Actually the ref DIDN'T call it; the opposing coach asked for the call;
Coach: "That's, that's unneccessary roughness!"
Ref: "On a quarterback, coach?!?"
Ah, good call, I thought something seemed wrong, but I was tired.
Regardless, I'd love to see Davi level a lineman with some move in a game.
He already said hes going to win us a natty
That's the type of mentality I like to hear. Cue the Shoresy "we'll never lose again."
Swag?? So we're converting him to Punter?
He definitely has some speedy wheels.
I see a lot of questions regarding height. Didn't he reclassify from '25 to '24? This has to make him a bit young and he may have some growing to do. Regardless, I don't think height is as big an issue in college as it is in the pros, especially for a mobile quarterback.
I will take Kyler Murray at OU all day long, dude has the ability to be a real game changer.
With Wells gone that leaves us with two undersized dual threat quarterbacks. And there are many examples of really good even great college quarterbacks in this mold. But it seems very hit or miss. You don't see a lot of just decent undersized quarterbacks. I'd certainly take a Kyler Murray but getting a Colandrea seems more common. It's a lot of undersized eggs in our QB1 basket. Wells is a huge loss as a backup especially with Kyron running the ball so much. But maybe there's a lot of magic in one of those small bottles. Hope reigns eternal.
Dylan Wittke is still around as well and listed at 6'1. Though I wouldn't be shocked to see him hit the portal since it seems as if he's been passed over by Pop on the depth chart.
No need to worry after Dwayne Lawson comes in after spring ball.
