Excellent.
It's all coming together as planned.
Welcome Home.
Hokies were rated at 93.1% to get the commit.
Nobody else was close.
South carolina fans felt they were in a good position and were upset when it was clear he was picking us
his dad was talking about his recruiting process in one of the post-game twitter spaces. very interesting insight. biggest thing was how they all hated the folks from bama and wanted nothing to do with them after his visit
The "Nittany Cryins"
Kid may have just moved to my second favorite in the class behind Recruiter Gabe.
Especially noteworthy after the Big Dogs comment from Devyn Ford's coach
The OTHER big dawgs.
Think we got a really good one here.
A lot of times the big dog offers that get reported aren't necessarily committable, sometimes they are "come work out for us" offers, or are non-committable by the time many guys who hold those offers actually commit, because they filled that spot already with a player higher on their board... But I dug around on this one leading up to his commitment and all the top Bama insider said Adams was a take and they were trying to get him to commit.
his dad said they told bama to stop bothering them after his visit.
Well there is always time for Saban and his unlimited money to get him to transfer
Alabama has plenty of money, but Alabama and UGA are not the big bidders in the NIL space. They are consistently missing on top guys where NIL is the main factor. Pretty much as soon as "NIL is a going to a play a major role here" gets reported Bama and UGA fade out of contention. They are not going to disrupt their active rosters NIL structure to overpay a freshman or transfer, when they've got dudes who've already proven it on the field for their teams. Most teams can't get away with this, but they can.
The big bidders are the hopeful ascenders: the Auburns, Ole Miss', Tennessee, and even more recently, Mizzou, type teams who want to elevate the tiers of the football world.
Add Colorado up near the top and Louisville is throwing cash out in bundles too.
Yeah there are quite a few programs throwing their hat in the NIL bidding war games. It will be interesting to see which programs it works out for, and which ones flame out spectacularly. So far, A&M has seen a lot of those big dog recruits from their monster class leaving through the portal.
Yep. Forgot where I heard it (probably either Richard Johnson or Bruce Feldman), but one of them was reporting that they talked to a team that won a natty in the playoff era, and that coach said they hope that this is the first year they can get all 85 scholarship players an NIL deal. It's not the OSUs/Bamas/UGAs who are winning the NIL battles.
Hell, from what I've read/heard, it sounds like Nebraska is the best paying/most competent collective out there.
Maybe - always that chance. I do like the set-up for 2025 for the receivers in terms of Chanz and Keylen to learn with last year's recruits and be solid contributors/starters in 2025.
I do think that set-up sells well for future retention.
Is it "Adams" or "Adam's"? Inquiring minds want to know. ;^)
Autocorrect will get after you...fixed.
I haven't been this excited about a skill position recruit in years
His nickname is "Key Play"? sounds like a prime NIL opportunity for TKP to get some new members
That was an authors liberal touch but it's hand wrapped for Triumph to use
