That was his brother Benji.

I'm here for the memes, I just stay for the football.

I mean you can walk and even run without an ACL, you just can't change directions.

(Not at all saying that is what happened, but I watched my sister do that on a similar field type making a similar movement. I hope I'm not right but also wouldn't be surprised)

I'm still figuring this out.

It could have been a bad cramp, cold and wet are good conditions for that. Thought I saw a couple guys who looked like cramps.

It did not look like a cramp at all to me

I couldn't find anything at all about it or even a video clip of it. Someone said ACL, but I thought they usually put you in a brace and crutches after that if that's what they suspect (I'd guess to help stabilize and prevent injury to any other ligaments in the knee). So maybe not a cramp (I was trying to remember what it looked like), trying to think of something that would keep a player out of a game but not have them be on crutches for a knee injury - cracked patella?

That's what I thought immediately as well. Being able to walk absolutely doesn't rule out ACL. I'm optimistic that it's something less serious though

Won't know for sure til the MRI, then it depends upon how much VT wants to divulge. For instance, we still don't really know exactly what Ali Jennings injury was.

Certainly a ligament injury is a concern, but I thought I saw a shot of him on the sideline without crutches or a heavy brace on. While you certainly can walk on an ACL, it would be pretty standard to at least put an immobilizer on that leg.

Edit: nvm...opened up the trophy photo above and looks like he has 5XL sweatpants on...could easily have immobilizer underneath those...

Yeah, but his sweat top also looks huge. Like you said, I thought I usually saw guys with suspected or confirmed ACL injuries on crutches, which would be to not put pressure on it, even with stabilization from a brace.

Best case scenario: over-abundance of caution on the teams part to expedite health for next season.

Probable case (imo): SG12 might have a lengthy rehab offseason hopefully it's just pt or minimal procedures if necessary. But I'd guess if the prognosis was bad we'd know sooner than later (with the school limit being where it is)

I'm still figuring this out.

Jennings had a broken foot

I know this from the man himself.

I seriously feel like I wish this season wasn't ending. I can't remember the last time I was this excited for the next season. Even after the ACCCG and bowl win in 2016, Evans declared for the draft, so felt unsure of the next year. Losing as little as we did and the incoming guys from the portal - I can't wait to see what we can do next season!
