Fair. Good luck Da'Wain.
Not a shocking entry. I wish him all the best finding a good fit and excelling there.
oh no, I told you we shouldn't have brought in all those WR transfers or Da'Wain Lofton would transfer...
Best of luck to him. Not surprising since Holloway, Greene, and XTB started to get what few reps he was getting.
Also note, another Fuente guy leaving. Pry is doing what he said- turning over the roster. Mutually beneficial for both parties.
He definitely improved this year from last year. Hope he finds a good landing spot.
Hope he finds a place and balls out.
May he have a phenomenal game for whoever he plays with so long as they lose to us..
I guess he had his meeting with Pry today
Best of luck buddy. Sorry it didn't work out here.
AB says he is staying for bowl game though which is nice to have that depth in case.
Good to hear. I can really respect that. Glad to have him for the bowl game.
Edit: I am good with him playing in the bowl game as I assume this decision was mutual at best and likely encouraged by the staff.
So have we changed the policy that players entering the portal can now play in the bowl game?
Maybe this would be just for players we have told to enter the portal?
I see it as this guy has a good attitude and has blocked all season, let's get him some film to find him a new home. Hopefully
Dude blocked his ass off this year despite the decrease in snaps and targets
Played hurt in the rutgers game when we were without jaylin lane too
Always a Hokie.
It's a shame things didn't workout for him here. It seemed like both coaching staffs and the players thought highly of him.
Best of luck!
Not super surprising considering it didn't seem like he saw many targets this year. Good luck to him and hope he finds a good fit, maybe somewhere closer to home.
Committed to Oklahoma State.
why does it look like he just dropped a pass?
That's a reenactment of his fumble recovery in the Military Bowl.
The football is standing on its end - I'm assuming from a celebratory perspective where you spin the football so it stays standing on its end.
Still think he is too small to be productive in the P5. Having said that, Gundy knows how to coach offense. He will be productive or he wont be there long
Agree..cupboard at WR was bare as could be
last yearin 2022 and didn't really distinguish himself above the crowd.Still, wish him best of luck and hope he is successful. Kid definitely showed what he was about with his effort in Military Bowl.
Edit: clarity
believe it or not, but unless he redshirts this year he's in his last year of eligibility... so he probably won't be there a long time regardless
he's in his last year of eligibility...
He's used all 9 of them?!?!?
Great kid! Great. Hokie!
It seems like he wanted it to work at VT, he simply couldn't get onto the field.
I hope he crushes it out there for the fighting Mullet Gundy's!
Good for him. I wish him all the best and I am thankful for his time in Orange and Maroon.
I think this could be a really good landing spot for him
