Morgan was a second team ALL ACC for the Hokies in 2010. He bounced around pro football with the Jets and Eagles in the NFL and then played for the Richmond Raiders, New Orleans Voodoos, and the Richmond Roughriders before moving into coaching. He was the secondary coach at Emory and Henry and then the Pass Game Defensive Coordinator/Safeties Coach at Florida A&M where the Rattlers won last year's HBCU Championship.

Davon and I were the same age and we had a ton of classes together all 4 years. He was a pleasure to be around. He went out of his way to make sure the people around him were enjoying life as much as he was. I am very happy for him and think this will just be the beginning.
solid hoops player too, I reffed an intramural game of his. Him and Justin Harper played most of the game above the rim.
I played pickup games with that crowd. It felt like JHarper was going to touch the top of the backboard with every rebound he got
