My daughter had a cheerleading competition in UMBCs arena and they have a banner hanging commemorating that game. I got a pic of it but I'm a dumb dumb and couldn't figure out how to embed it here from my phone. None of the free upload sites were actually working that day. It's a nice little arena though.

me (extending an olive branch)- well, if you need to let of some steam, feel free to let loose on our crappy basketball program. We scored 2 points in 9 minutes of game time...against richmond...in Blacksburg
LOLUVa- It doesn't feel right to make fun of somebody else for shitting the bed, when there's shit in your own bed too...
me- ...I dunno. I find that seeing you guys do it brings some sunshine into whatever sports fan hell I'm in. Guess I just don't see the need to take the high road on this one

me- that's because taking the high road is how you get to Blacksburg. Believe me, I went there from Charlottesville.

For what it's worth, Colorado State was my second choice after Tech for undergrad. Picked VT over CSU because VT was less expensive out-of-state. Guess no matter where I go, they beat up on Virginia.
