I have heard rumors from previous WBB players and big time athletics donors that he 1.) didn't treat former players very well and 2.) hasn't made any contact with said donors since departing for UK, despite all they did for him and WBB. They made it sound like that bridge is worse off than the...well, you know. My personal stance, since this is all rumors, is one of neutral: no ill will nor any respect. The situation is what it is, unfortunately.

If I remember correctly, she committed to us over a few instate schools (maybe Baylor even?) sight unseen during Covid when they couldn't visit campuses. Might be a factor there....

I think she is going to be a player once she gets some more minutes to show what she can do. Shoots well enough to always be a threat outside and isn't afraid to get to the rim. Getting comfortable in the offense should help her court vision which was where I thought she struggled.

Underutilized to this point. In brief glimpses, she gives off "fuck you, try and stop me" vibes when she has the ball. Not the most naturally gifted on the roster, but seemed like one of the most competitive. Has definitely called someone a cunt as she took a layup for an and one. Like the Women's basketball version of Corey Moore.
She's the kind of player that would be a valuable asset in a balanced high major program (what we were until about a week ago), or a spark plug for a scrappy mid-major team (which if we're being honest is where we're at until proven otherwise). Either way, big recruiting win to keep the program from completely nosediving.
At this point I feel myself getting amped about the players "choosing VT again" ... almost like a battle tested group of pissed off hokies
If we can keep the majority together and also hold onto our recruiting class, I'll be ecstatic. We need Lexi and Silva to really compete.

I feel like deferring to Georgia tied up her head and she couldn't react to things at game speed.

Averaged 11.7ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.5apg at Wyoming as a slashing three spot guy. Shot 37.7% from outside on 5+ attempts per game. 80+% free throw shooter. ATO+ was 45:14 or about 3:1. Very much a Tyler Nickel style player but with slightly better defense.
