Curious if Georgia going to UK helps us retain Mackenzie Nelson (who I'm really high on). She already redshirted and might not want to sit on the bench/play second fiddle for another season....
I think Lexi Blue's decision will firm that up especially since there are 5 guards still on Kentucky's roster from last year's team at least for now.
I wonder how many of them just get straight up dumped by Kenny. That is the real ugliness of this whole unlimited transfer thing, the players that get run off. Some of them may have had UK as their dream school and now they could just get cast aside. I hate it.
Four of the remaining five are from Kentucky so very good chance it was their dream school and I could see Kenny packing them off without blinking an eye if he thinks he can grab someone better, especially since they are all guards left.
I haven't looked to see if he has gotten other portal commitments yet from other schools. He is at a minimum of 8 players now and if Silva and Blue go too it will be ten, leaving him three scholarship spots if he didn't give one to his daughter.
Don't the children of school employees get to go to school for free at the university where their parents work? For some reason I thought this was the case at VT. Maybe it differs by school but either way Kenny can afford the tuition.
He could probably make her an employee or give her an NIL package equivalent to scholarship but I believe you are correct with VT employees kids getting free tuition. Not sure if Kentucky offers the same incentive. It's not like she was talented enough in high school to warrant being on a P5 roster.

There is a joint resolution moving through the Virginia legislature to have SCHEV study whether this kind of policy would be feasible at all public universities in Virginia. Some do it already based on their interpretation of some changes to the legal code, but it's a mess trying to navigate it right now. Hence why the legislature wants to establish something universal.

if it was anything in between the panhandle to jacksonville, and south until orlando, then you are spot on. Except for every animal, insect, and plant trying to kill you... Florida just has gators and florida man, so in that regard its probably a lot safer.

Didn't look that closely but it was a known part of her background when she committed from JUCO. Their is another 5* Australian at IMG Academy, Lara Somfai in class of 25 that had the Hokies in her top 5 before all this so would assume it's now Kentucky in her top 5.
