As a player at Clemson, Coleman was a three-time All-ACC selection and earned All-America honorable mention accolades.
She will be responsible for recruiting, scouting, game planning, guard and post player development, and various external operations projects.
She also has served as an assistant coach at Penn State, Butler and Liberty, and coached at her alma mater, Clemson as both an assistant and head coach.
Coleman enjoyed a long professional career in the WNBA for the Indiana Fever and the Houston Comets. She was a member of Team USA in the Pan American Games and at the FIBA World Championships.

It does appear she is getting assistants with enough experience in the pros to be able to communicate better what the needs of a professional player are.

I'm starting to get excited to see the style of play that Coach Duffy will have in Blacksburg. She is hiring what appear to be good coaches so I'm trying not to get too hype before seeing a game. But I would love to get hype during WBB season.

I think Whit understands that WBB is trending up fast, probably becoming a revenue generator, and is staying ahead of the curve instead of letting us slide back to where we were. Things aren't looking nearly as grim as they were a few weeks ago.

Still need to see the product on the floor. But CMD has a reputation of putting a good product on the floor so I am going to hold serve for the offseason on any assessment. I believe Whit did his job and now it is CMD's time to do so as well. She seems to have hit the ground running, IMO.

Seems like Duffy is assembling a staff with a good amount of not only coaching but professional experience

After reading her bio, this feels like the kind of splash hire we've been begging to have in any sport for years!
