New NIL Tournament coming to College Basketball

This has multiple posts explaining the process and scope but bottom line each school participating receives $1M to put into NIL. The players have to participate in non-basketball activities in Vegas and probably social media to meet the parameters of NIL. If equally distributed across the 13 scholarship spots, that would add $76,923.07 to each players NIL deal.

Apparently 7 of 8 spots are spoken for but Young should try to grab that 8th spot or at a minimum be in the conversation for the potential expansion of this early season tournament.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

The tournament will be financially backed by RedBird International Media Investments, a subset of RedBird Capital Partners, a multi-billion-dollar investment firm. RedBird IMI is an investment consortium majority funded by the United Arab Emirates.
