He came in in a tough situation, rebuilding pretty much from scratch, said Lang, the son of former Duke standout Antonio Lang. I was surprised [by the firing] personally. I sat and talked with my dad about it a lot. We knew it was a possibility, but we also kind of thought he would at least have one more year.

That quote is telling, the fact that he knew that JJ probably wasn't going to be his coach his whole career at Tech and still committed shows that he knew what he was getting into and it hasn't bothered him yet.

I know it all comes down to who gets brought in, but I really believe they will stick with their LOI.
