Not sure if they were committable but he has a solid offer list... UNC, Oklahoma, Penn State, to name a few

Bleeding burnt orange and chicago maroon

Unc was his leader coming out of their visit and Oklahoma made a strong push for him to take his OV this weekend. Take that for what it's worth.

Will take all the DL recruits we can get!

I hate rude behavior in a man. Won't tolerate it.

one click shows Wagoneer's been around TKP for 7 years. Sheesh. Everyone take a nap, have a snickers or something.

Amen, yes

according to hokiesfb instagram post, picked us over oklahoma, penn st, and unc. those are the battles we need to be winning!

great pick up!!

Replace psu with loluva and its correct

Love to see it. Would be great to establish a reliable pipeline with Stone Bridge similar to what we seem to have going with Highland Springs. They've had a lot of great players over the years that for one reason or another did not end up in Blacksburg

Hm, I do like this. Very much.

I will choose to be excited about this news

Also a 4 star in rivals.

Gets from Stone Bridge (and Ashburn area generally) are good gets. Lots of pro-football influence in that town.

Coach Gouv was on a podcast with 2-Deep the other day. I'm sure he had a big influence on bringing Evans in as a Stone Bridge alum.

You can hear the staff reacting to Evans' commitment in the background during that podcast

It was pretty funny when I heard it. Gouv just plays it off like that's some part of a regular visit. But you have to know he was itching to be in the other room when he heard that outburst.

I had no idea that was his commitment when I heard it. That's pretty neat.

The full interview is pretty good. Pete's pretty good at the podcasat and interview stuff, really good listen and in his next pod he gives TKP a shoutout. If you aren't listening to his pod, you're missing out on great Hokie content.

Time stamp for their reaction?

The vid should start right before it happens.

Welcome Home Christian!

DT prospect, coming from Stone Bridge, a spot where the Hokies have had some misses going back to Jonathan Allen. Good deal. They need to really turnover the DT room in the next calendar year.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

Did not have French praising Cheez on my bingo card.

If you play it, they will win.

I was sharing the concept of commitment photoshops and came across this awesome news. This looks like a 4 star to me.

Outside it's night time, but inside it's LeDay

Gimme the big boys

...to free my soul.

I wanna get lost in your rock and roll

Now thump away!

I love 58's reaction! If it wasn't for the UNC helmet, I'd swear that was Scott Stadium, by level of attendance.

...with spirits true and faithful...

I haven't had a chance to watch a lot of his film, but after a quick glance this looks like a great pickup for the scheme. Has a good frame that should hold another 20-25lbs ( he's listed at 275). The couple of things that stick out are:

1. He has a good/quick first step. And it shows most when his job is to occupy the gap... he gets there really quick.
2. He can change directions about as well as any kid that size I've seen in a while. He's a very agile kid.
3. He LOVES to hit people. He loves to finish a tackle.
4. He tends to stand up straight when he comes out of his stance, not at all unusual for a high school kid who can win at the point of attach with shear strength. He will need to work on his bend along with getting "skinny" so that linemen at the P5 level can't get their hands on him so easily.

I don't think he's a day one starter (although that would be determined by what the room looks like when he arrives), but he seems like a really good prospect for this scheme at first look.

I keep saying it... Pry and Co. are getting some really good prospects that fit specific roles. They are slowly building a roster in Blacksburg, one that will remind us of the old Beamer days.

Is coronavirus over yet?
