Was browsing youtube and got served this gem from 1999 by the algorithm and it hit me: this year will be the 25th anniversary of that season. Crazy to think that its so long ago (yet to be fair I was 8 years old at VT for the annual youth swimmeet that new year and didnt understand why everyone was buying Vick Jerseys since I didn't watch football yet). I dont want to jinx anything by making any projections (however much I'd like to), but it would be really nice to have this season finally get back to the days where we can legitimately win any given week.

Boy do I miss relevance in football...
Going to go out on a limb and guess we will be relevant this coming season. Not 12-2 top 10 relevant, but 8-10 wins and be in or close to the rankings at the end of the season. Cautions optimism that the team takes the next step from mediocre to pretty good or good next season. Team can get there.
