I'm fascinated to know what this merch collab looks like. Is it just officially licensed maroon and orange gear that says "exit light, enter night" or is it some Metallica reference that I won't get since I don't really listen to them outside of Enter Sandman?
I don't dislike them by any stretch. but I'm never like 'you know what I want to listen to right now? Master of Puppets?'
It's a good album. But I'm never craving it.

I've never been real big on Metallica, but inject Master of Puppets (song not album) straight into my veins. If I'm having a lackluster morning, I'll blast it in the parking lot before walking into work.
Deep meaning in that song too- one of my favorites. I love all metallica though, except the snare sound on St. Anger. Have no idea what Bob Rock was thinking there.
Agree about St. Anger, but I will say that I really like the way they do it live now with a decent drum sound.
A few years back a semi-pro drummer replayed the album on you tube with a properly tuned, mixed and mastered black beauty snare (Its the ludwig nickel over brass made famous by John Bonham) I own one- it has a "round" tone you can find that I have never heard on any of my other snares- I have some high end ones. At any rate- that album sounded totally different with a great snare sound. It was amazing how much more listenable it was.

Campus Emporium has 2 additional shirts that are not available through the official VT store (yet?). For whatever reason these ones are also $15 more ($60 tshirts!?!). However, these ones might be my favorite and I will surely drop the money inside Lane after a long tailgate.
