So streameast.app seems to work very easily for me. The VT game hasn't started yet so it won't load, but I was able to open multiple other currently live games like Ohio vs Morgan state with no problem and good video quality. Just be aware when you click on the link for a game you will get one new tab pop up telling you to install something. Just close that tab and you should be good to start the player. I'm using Firefox browser BTW with Norton antivirus.

On an individual player by player basis this team just isn't good. So many senior level guys just consistently make the wrong reads both on offense and defense. So much of this is still bullshit we are dealing with from Fuente being complete ass at recruiting.

I think the OL can be pinned on Fuente. OLs take time to develop. Depth there takes time to develop. Look at all the underclassmen OL that got pushed out in Pry's first couple offseasons. There's ample evidence that it's tough to improve the OL via the portal (both from a supply/demand perspective, as well as a team building perspective).
But the special teams blunders, the defensive ineptitude, the slow adjustments on offense - that's all Pry & Co
Can it? In 2021 Clements was honorable mention ALL-ACC...now he's our worst OL.
So, can OL development failures be attributed to Fuente... I think a little bit.
I know Clements got a lot of playtime and 7 starts, but the only awards I can find was 2021 PFF All-ACC Third Team (RT). I get that he had a high upside, but also he was surrounded by 5 experienced upperclassmen (Tenuta, Lecitus, Hoffman, and Dzansi). Clements has been here 4 years and had three different position coaches. All this to say - if we look at his trajectory (not the OL at a macro level), it looks like (a) his early performances may have been helped by the players around him, and (b) his development may have suffered from a revolving door of OL coaches. I think Rudolph was a bad hire for this program at this time, and that's Pry fault.
Looking at the OL from a macro level - there were 21 OL on the 2021 roster (13 freshman, 2 redshirt freshmen/true So) - 5 of those 21 are still here (all underclassmen in '21), and three have been meaningful contributors (K. Moore, Clements, Schick). That's a three out of 15 hit rate. Our line is sooooo bad, but 80% of the underclassmen OL who Pry inherited weren't good enough to play.
I'm not going to argue that development is not a problem, but I also want to point out that OLs take time to develop.
I think this is the last year/last thing that Pry supporters could blame on Fuente.
We hear all the time that ol takes a while to develop but then every single year you see a new coach at some school that couldn't run the ball on air come in and have their offense playing better than VT has played since Tyrod was on the team. So I don't fully buy that nonsense. Good coaches are able to teach their players what they need to know in one off season to make them at least competitive. But at VT our offensive coaches get 3 years to prove themselves and they start over at year 0 every season because of turnover at one of the position groups. It's bullshit.
I'm tired of making excuses for our coaches. Our team is way worse than it should be at this point. These guys aren't going to get us where we want to be. You can give them 3 more years if you like but I'm telling you now we're, at best, a middling ACC team with Marve and Bowen coordinating. We're not going to win more than 7 games in a season with those guys in charge. That's just what it is.
I offset that downvote (you didn't say anything that warranted that), but Pry has turned over a good portion of the roster. Player development is a significant issue with this staff.

Idk how y'all are watching this game and thinking the biggest issue is Bowen. The defense is absolutely atrocious, and has been for every season in the Pry era. I have my complaints about player development on offense, but man, Defense has to get fixed. Staff is acting like we've been one MLB away for 3 years now, and it's not the case.
He's not the biggest issue, but he is an issue and he was the one stuck in the elevator last time.
He's largely been fine and we've moved the ball decently, I just think he occasionally blacks out and calls screens that aren't effective and plays that stall out drives before he comes to

What is so incredibly frustrating, among other things, is that when our guys (on defense) are in a position to make plays they get absolutely bullied around.
This VT program is not a P4 program. We are ODU, Marshall, Liberty... we are who we were in the late 80's and early 90's. We are a G5 team masquerading as an ACC program.
I don't remember who, but someone on here said something along the lines of not being surprised if the 3rd stringer started instead of the backup and here we are and I almost wonder if that plan wasn't intentional. Get us to prepare for the backup and then the 3 string plays.

Funny story sort of, I've been a Beer Drinker all my life. I never really drink liquor at all but I figured I was doing damage to my liver regardless and then when I got cancer 6 years ago and had my entire abdomen opened up to remove my kidney and 43 lymph nodes my surgeons literally had my liver in their hands and said that it was "unremarkable". I couldn't believe it. Here I've been trying to kill my liver for almost 40 years and it somehow resisted every effort I made to destroy it.

It's not actually freezing at break, they just cut the mics and zoom out each break, so it looks like its freezing. If you just wait it returns when the teams return to the field.
Nah, when it comes back from break the video is in slowmo unless you exit the stream and restart it. Every. Time. Everything in this production except the commentators has been bush league.
