Antone's daycare these days

According to Shane, Antone is living with his family while preparing for the draft. I guess Antone has a new daycare to take care of.

That picture is awesome.

Some young, immature people would see him playing in a life-size dollhouse with two little girls and call him a punk or a lame.

Me being an old married man, I foresee Exum's wife joyfully bearing him many children when that time comes.

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

We need to make it a thing before Les Miles does.

Antone needs to flee from that little pink ironing board.....just say no, Tone! Don't do the ironing! You'll be doing it forever.

+1. So damn true. Fortunately I've been labeled as "laundry incompetent" since the early dating days.

So you poured bleach in with colors didn't you? Woops meant poured...lol

Was this your explanation?

Nah. Nothing to be afraid of. You put one permanent crease in the wrong place, you never have to iron her things again.

Tried that....didn't work. More lessons and lectures.

I used logic to get out of it.

Men's laundry:
Cotton pants, cotton shirts, cotton underwear. Some have a little polyester mixed in.

Women's laundry:
Every damn thing- silk, rayon, polyester, wool, ramie, leather, spandex and cotton.
No way am I learning how to wash that stuff and doing a load for each different type, iron temps, etc

This is going to be great for the ACC.

My wife has ...unusual...laundry rules. Clothes are sorted not only by color and category (whites, towels, etc) but by things like "type of dirt". For instance, if I wore an old pair of jeans to mow the yard, they cannot be washed with the rest of the jeans. A shirt that I sweat in at work doesn't fall into the same category as one I sweat in when working in the flower bed. I can understand not washing the oily t-shirt that you wore when you changed the oil in the car with the fine linen table cloth that you use for Christmas dinner, but things can get ridiculous around here with laundry. I'm not totally sure why we purchased a clothes dryer. Apparently, only about 40% of the clothes we own can be dried in it. Sometimes I'm not sure that we made progress when we stopped beating our clothes on rocks at the local stream. Sorry, rant over, I'll step off the soapbox now.

This is so...I didn't even...are there really.... MOM CAN YOU DO MY LAUNDRY???

I guess one advantage qabout being single is that I can just throw all my clothes in one load. No muss, no fuss. If my white shirts get too dirty they sit around until I have enough to bleach a load.

I called this 'laundry Darwinism' in college: wash all of my clothes in one load and whatever didn't make it was not strong enough anyway.

Shoog nails it again

Interestingly, rumor has it that this laundry philosophy is the origin of #allmarooneverything.

I feel your pain. I'm not at that level yet in my house, but my wife certainly has the 34690 loads of laundry. Fortunately I don't have to get involved very often and when I do I get very specific instructions.

I can do laundry, I was in the Navy and did my own laundry, I didn't get married until I was in my 30s.

We don't get quite that bad as your wife but, with kids, you have more loads to do and can separate out more.

All jean material goes in 1 load. All guys know how to wash jeans, it's like our uniform. I get colored underwear so it can get tossed in with the jeans. Sox can go in there too. and colored T-shirts. I wear mostly cotton "garage type" shirts for work now so, they can go in there too.

All white undershirt type stuff can go in a load with just a touch of bleach. You guys are probably too young to know anything about blueing.

There ya go, 2 loads for me. Anything else that can't get tossed in there like brand new red t-shirts get a short wash on their own to prevent the color bleed.

Everything goes in the dryer. I can do my own laundry in 3 hours from first load to fold. If I need to iron anything, it goes in the first load so I can get it down while the last load is in the dryer.

Girls..... 8 small loads later....

This is going to be great for the ACC.

I'm going to contribute my female approach to laundry: whites, lights, brights (orange Tech stuff), darks (maroon Tech stuff, jeans), underwear, and delicates. Only my husband's PT / workout gear and Army uniforms are washed separately.

I realize women have this mentality of "you can never have too much underwear" and end up having enough to survive for about 3 months without wearing any pair twice, but do they really get their own separate load in the wash?

1. Boob sweat is real. Multiple bras are necessary, especially when you have big boobs like me and live in the Deep South.
2. Women's underwear is expensive. If you had to cough up $40-60 bucks for a bra, you'd take good care of it.
3. Bras and panties are not the hearty clothing that men's underthings are. Men like delicate silky unmentionables on us. These need to be washed on a delicate cycle to extend their usable life because see #2.

I'm probably more specific about laundry than my girlfriend and think this sums up almost exactly how I would prefer for laundry to be done.

Now if only I can convince her to clean out the damn lint filter on the dryer more than once "every couple of times" (which judging by the varying color layers of lint, means about every 5 dryer cycles).

Joffrey, Cersei, Ilyn Payne, the Hound, Jeff Jagodzinski, Paul Johnson, Pat Narduzzi.

hehehe

All y'all and y'damn spouses. I clean the lint filter when I want! I do what I want! Respect my authoriti!

You're lucky, Horse, you don't wear clothes so you don't have any laundry.

Yeah? I told the wife to remember to clean out the lint filter. If the motor burns out, it'll be because the lint filter won't allow air through.
First time that happens I don't replace the dryer for a month. She thinks I'm kidding.

A couple years later, I'm rigging a temporary clothes line.
She empties the lint filter now.

This is going to be great for the ACC.

And this is why I fell in Love with Virginia Tech, heck I don't even live in VA and have only been to Blacksburg twice. With that said the people there(Blacksburg) and all around the USA are so genuine, its an unbelievable fan base to be a part of and I love the players attitude towards the community and life in general. Antone is a special individual and I hope he hears his name come draft day!
