I'm probably the only person here who thought the game plan made sense. You have your 4th string true freshman RB as your starter effectively. He fumbled twice the week before. Your only chance to win that game was field possession, defensive showout, and taking advantage of any their blown defenses. We basically did that pretty well. If it weren't for all the dropped passes it probably would've been a close game.

I've started looking for those midweek games to watch just for something to do at night after everyone has gone to bed, but it's 8:45 and I still want to have a drink to unwind. They're kind of fun, because it's exciting when either team does something well, or something wacky happens. Blowout are kind of boring, but if that happens I can call it quits and go to bed.

That first half was something. We let up 21 pts to an offense that averages 26ish a game. Dukes defense is physical, afraid they notice that they can just over power us up front and makes a tough second half for Pop.
