Tuten was robbed of 1st team. Second best RB in the conference by stats and played 1 less game this season.
Tuten is a bad ass. But the guy from UNC did have 500 (!) more rushing yards this season. It's kind of a no-brainer.
Sure but what about the SMU guy that was first team?

Yeah that guy that tuten should replace because we all agree the UNC back is a no brainer
When I replied I didn't realize there were two RBs on the first team.
But the SMU back has nearly identical stats and he's on an 11-1 team, so I also have a hard time criticizing that pick.
Devil's advocate. It's way more impressive because Tuten did it behind one of the worst OL's in P4

Feel like Love doesn't get the love (pun intended) he deserves. Another super solid year. 15/17 including 2/3 from 50+, and perfect on extra points
I refuse to believe there are 4 better kickers in the league than Love. Actually I find it hard to believe that there is a single kicker better than Love. Dude is a legit stud.
The problem is Pry shorted him about 6 or 7 attempts. He just didn't get the attempts to justify it. He was tied for 12th in the ACC in FG attempts. Tied for 6th in Xtra Point attempts.

We bungled and mismanaged our way out of multiple FG attempts this year.
With more competent coaching, Love is 100% at least 2nd team.
The only kicker in the country I'd take over Love is Borregales and they're pretty evenly matched. I think shorting Love on some attempts and his kicks that were blocked at short range didn't help his status this year.
Am I crazy for thinking Strong and Delane should be flip-flopped?
Strong has a case for First Team. Definitely better than Delane
How bad were the offensive linemen in the ACC for Moore and Chaplin to even be honorable mention?
Offensive lines every where are down due to portal and NIL. No one can maintain depth.
chaplin was amazing before his injury. That injury was an inflection point in overall oL effectiveness
VT was 3rd in the conference in rushing yards per game, and tied for 4th in yards per carry, so they're probably getting some credit for that.
