I think it is but there is the most depth on this roster at the two forward spots as well so Young isn't forced to play him like he is Johnson and Hammond.

I did notice in the ~4 minute he played tonight that he got knocked over twice, like flat on his back. Kinda looked flop-ish in real time, but other than that and one time not getting back fast enough after he hedged on a screen he looked pretty good.

He's recovering from an injury that nobody but the team knows the severity of. Clearly set him back significantly. With the black hole that is a college injury report these days, there's no telling whether he will be 100% in time to earn a role in the regular rotation this year.

Up 27 points and no Ryan Jones yet. Pretty frustrating.
Haha I was just thinking that I hope he gets some quality minutes tonight!
Me too
Is this a Lynn Kidd situation where Young doesn't trust him on defense? That's what it seems like to me.
Unfortunately if his playing time doesn't change he's gonna transfer

Shoutout to our second stringers who got mass-substituted in and put a stop to the bleeding. Nice run they put together too!
Winning big but putting your opponent in double bonus with over 9 minutes left is no bueno
Offense flows so much better with Hammond at point
Jones got in for a couple minutes. Wish it had been more.
What a weird game 😂 Great night for our bench players though!
95-67 final. Great game from Hammond.
55 points off the bench.
Why isn't Jones playing more?
If it's like other years with Coach Young, it means he isn't satisfied with his defense

I would think that too, but CMY's history of not playing highly-rated freshmen also just makes me a bit suspicious lol
Wasn't able to watch, did we actually commit that many fouls?
Yes. Whistles were quick but the Aggies were good at driving the ball into contact. We also played the whole bench a significant amount of the game.
