As the mom of a special needs child, I really want to send a letter to Buzz Williams regarding his charity, Buzz's Bunch. What would be the best route to get it to him? Anyone? Buelller? Bueller? :-)

I'm assuming you can email Sharon Spradlin, the administrative assistant for the basketball program (according to VT's athletics website).

Thanks, I saw her email but wasn't sure if it would really make it to him. I'm sure VT IT blocks a lot of unofficial mail. I can only imagine the emails they're getting right now.
The athletic department is very good about getting back to people. While I was at VT my cousin came back from duty overseas. He had been in the Corp of Cadets at VT and there was a big Miami football coming up. I think it was the Assistant AD that I e-mailed the situation and even though it was already sold out I asked if there was a special case scenario that I could buy a couple of extra tickets for he and his girlfriend. To be honest I didn't really expect anyone to answer back, but within two days I had an e-mail back saying to come by the football offices they had two free tickets for them. It's the little things that you don't forget!
If that doesn't work and you are on twitter or would consider joining you would probably be able to reach him or Whit. I know that Whit generally responds to a number of fans on there and am sure he would respond to you.
It will get through. Also, I would encourage you to check hokiesports.com (once a week or so) until they assign Buzz his own e-mail address, if they haven't already. It will reach his desk, and it will generate a response. He is very big on doing that. Also, I don't know if you are aware or not - Buzz's Bunch has their main event in early December usually. Thus there is a lot of time to contact him. He will focus on that after he gets his staff in place, etc. so don't think he's forgotten.
There will be other contact times than the 'main event', and there will be involvement with the players as well as Buzz and his family. There will be meet & greet opportunities like Beamer & staff do with football, so look for those, too. I'd encourage you to be patient, but optimistic. Buzz has a ton of stuff on his plate right now. He works like a maniac, though, and he will address it.
I would give him a week or two to get settled in and then it looks like the best way to get in touch with him would be mail him a letter to his office in Blacksburg. He seems to respond to letters regarding his charity and reaches out all the time.

Honestly Back when Seth beat Duke.. I sent an email shortly after congratulating him and asked for an autograph. I got one very shortly after.

Thanks for the responses. As the Mom of a special needs child, I tend to spend a lot of time researching charities before donating our time and money. Since we are already Hokie Club members, what better way to continue helping the Virginia Tech name while helping a charity I could really be passionate about? Ive been doing a lot of reading about Buzzs Bunch, and for me it doesn't get much better than special needs children and Hokie athletics. This could really end up being something very special. ;-)
Ditto no1hokiefanatic...I am the father of special needs child and I was researching the same thing last night. I believe the email route would work if he knows your background and you want to help.

Yowordup. Yeah I gots family in that field. What you need? They'll charge a lot but package stays in the bag until it reaches the destination. Won't nobody look.
