Bowling Green running back Terrion Stewart signs with Virginia Tech

Stewart rushed for almost 900 yards and averaged over 5 yards per carry for Scot "Juice" Loeffler's Bowling Green team this year, which played Penn State and Texas A&M to within a touchdown on the road this season before finishing the year with a long winning streak in the MAC.

I have watched a small amount of tape on Stewart. He isn't particularly fast, but has is a good one cut inside runner who does a good job of being patient, reading the key block in the zone scheme, and making a decisive cut. I don't think he is quite shaped the same, but for the fellow long time VT fans, he runs very similarly to Cedric Humes. He is tough to bring down.

Ok French. Please explain

Scot "Juice" Loeffler's

Have I missed something? Have I forgotten something?

And I will gladly take another "Cedric Humes" in the backfield.

To quote the Brothers Osborne: "I'm Good For Some But I'm Not For Everyone"

Shame on him for stealing Khalil Herbert's name.

He (Loeffler) used to always talk about "having juice" when discussing the energy you bring to practice and getting better, to the point that it became schtick.

Damn, you got 2 of us. I'll have a beer when I get home.

I'm going to re-embed this because it's encouraging even if I don't know what all the numbers mean.

Now who's going to be his Mike Imoh?

Fire Whit.

I want to get the next Tuten.

Worth noting, Stewart didn't get a touch against Penn State but played well versus A&M. He had a monster game against Western Michigan.

Thanks Scot. Keep recruiting and developing for us.

That could fit nicely with our scheme

Humes was a good back that I can still see in my mind's eye. Lots of backs over the 56 years or so I've watched the Hokies, but for some reason I remember him pretty well. I'll take another, that's for sure.

Two RB commits today. Do they know something about our O-line we don't know?

or do they know something about our RB room that we all know? (opportunity opportunity opportunity)

Checks boxes for inside runner, he is built like a bowling ball. Nice choice

Looks like he doesn't shy away from contact either. Linebackers are not gonna have fun meeting him in the hole.

FTFY... at least until we get an o-line.

Watched a quick clip, he can play

Couple different spellings on here. But it looks the one in the title has an extra "r". We have done well with backs in the portal, and it looks like that may continue.
