Hate to be the bearer of bad news... but the Carys Baker double double may not be. Don't get me wrong. She had a tremendous game and in my eyes she had the double double. As a matter-of-fact, the in-game live stats had her with 10 rebounds at the end (I saw it with my own eyes). However, that has since been changed to only 9 rebounds. Also the write-up on HokieSports does not mention a double double and the boxscore that accompanies the article also has only 9 rebounds.

We were down 12 with 7:42 left in the game and up to that point it was pretty ugly basketball. Tied at halftime only because both teams couldn't shoot. Third quarter was where majority of comments were from. The Hokies came out in the third and were down 40-30 in a blink. They were shooting 37% from the floor through 3 quarters.

We are in Year 1 of a new coach in an extremely tough conference. Any expectations to remain on the same level as last year's teams are laughable.
Doesn't mean we can't be good, but let's not piss on every win. I love TKP, but sometimes there's just an inordinate amount of negativity in every thread

There is a difference between ragging on the team and making a statement about what's going on. It's a game thread. It was tame compared to any of our football game threads. The shooting by this team was awful for three quarters. Are we supposed to piss sunshine when there isn't much positive going on? There wasn't much singling out of anyone in particular. It wasn't anyone claiming the sky was falling. Maybe it seems more condensed because there aren't 500 comments like football game threads. There were what...16 comments in the game thread and most were just reiterating current game statistics?
There are almost as many FAM comments as the entire game thread especially as there are two FAM threads with comments.
