I hate Pat Narduzzi and Pitt but he's consistently had mean hard hitting defenders, I hope this is one of them.
Oh here we go! Let's go! I'm curious to see if French thinks he fits more as a MIKE or WILL
At least I hope he's good enough to start immediately.
Wow. Ok we seriously have to have a DC who is just not publicly named yet. Great pickup!
If that's the case, and if he's from a team still playing (most likely), then we may have additional portal incomings like with Moore from WVU.
I know nothing, but it's hard not to be excited about a player in a position of need from a narduche defense
Agreed, I know nothing about this kid, but I'm excited to see a LB from a P4 program with a good defense and not another kid from VMI.
Glad to see another top VA kid coming back home too. I'd rather have them right out of high school, but better late then never!
I thought losing out on him out of high school was a really bad miss. Glad to have him second time around!
Now have the #1 and #4 VA recruit from the 2023 class on the roster so that's something.
I have an exceptionally dark humor joke, but not wanting to be banned means I have to keep it to myself.
You're such a tease...
We didn't miss out on him, we let someone else develop him
Pitt and WVU are our farm teams now.
For OL and LB I'm totally okay with that.
I'm gonna need this level of positivity from you during the season next year
Blind optimism is for the off-season only, duh
Basic tenet of trying to catch a big Bass, keep casting and be ready to set the hook if he bites. Nice catch!
LFG
Holy fucking shit, this is a legit pickup
Holy shit!
Position of need, good size, pipeline potential, and highly rated, Big pickup!
He was the number one recruit for Pitt in 2023. Suck it Nardouche!
Way to reel in the Bass.

Well, even for me it's too early to start drinking. I should've read all the replies before posting.
Leg for the Bill Dance pull. I almost posted a similar Dance gif but couldn't bring myself to do so based on that god awful hat he is wearing. 😂😂
I like turkey legs and love posting funny gifs, however that was a bridge too far 😂

Hope he does well. He looks like a Lawson clone. A WR/S in HS that is uber athletic, but struggled to learn and play within Pitt's scheme. It will be interesting to see if a change of scenery and coaching can get him right.
So backup Star then?
Yea, I think so. Or if the light bulb switches on, maybe he becomes the starter. I don't think Pry and Quinn are in love with Kaleb Spencer at the spot. Gabe Williams (when he gets physically and mentally healthy) would also compete for playing time. I think Williams could also slide over to WILL.
Kaleb Spencer is OK... he's slow, doesn't have a burst at all.
Excellent, Smithers! You love to see it.
I hope we start getting these guys out of HS, but we are honestly doing a pretty good job of getting these VA guys to come back home through the portal.
Yes, let's hope we were more encouraged with his Pitt film vs. hoping we can turn him around to where he was from HS tape. I -hope- we wouldn't take him if we didn't like his pitt stuff, but we are taking lower division guys.
Two years of eligibility.
The sweet smell of success.
Plus the idea of taking things away from Narduzzi is always a pleasant thought.
VT + Bass = National Champs
