Great news!

That's good to hear! Also gotta give props to Rechsteiner for holding it down when Hammond was out. He only had 2 TOs against Stanford and none against Cal.

Part of that was Young used Rodney Brown and Jaydon Young at the point a bunch against Cal. Jaydon got 27 minutes, Brown and Rechsteiner both played 23.

It was a similar split between Brown and Rechsteiner against Stanford.

He can be a very good player, but sometimes either tries to do much to make something happen or, if he is pressed by a longer player bring the ball up the court, panic. I think sharing the point helps take some of the pressure off, and hopefully helps him find his game.

Sometimes we live no particular way but our own

NC State has not shot the ball well as a team all season, but their calling card is pressing defense with constant pressure. Ball handling, as always for this team, will be the key to victory tonight. Hammond will need to play under control along with the rest of the backcourt to win this one tonight.

2 wins away from a natty in -random year- last year. So fucking annoying.

Last year's success happened when Keatts went away from his pressing defense. They reverted to a standard half court defense to conserve energy which led to them closing the season on five wins in ACC play, the ACC Tourney run and then the NCAA run, yet Keatts has fallen right back into using the full court or aggressive mid-court defense this season and in most of their losses they were worn out at the end.
