We just watch and hope. Every game is a new adventure and we're just really getting familiar with our players, their numbers, and what they have to offer as the team learns each other as well. Exciting, scary and then an excellent exclamation point to secure the win...we had a ball and to get to laugh at UVa. Priceless.
Be ready to do this again next season. Its going to be hard getting to know new players every damn season now.
I did the same, the turnovers and sloppy play were making me crazy. Normally I would have recorded it and watched the second half after the kids went to bed. I really hate the current NIL and transfer state of affairs as I would usually file the team closely and think of things as the first year in a rebuild. Now I can't bring myself to be interested as I assume half the team will be gone after this year and it's not worth becoming invested in the team

I honestly still can't believe what I watched last night. Maybe the penultimate snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. We definitely have a steep talent disparity, but I have to give CMY, the staff and the players credit where it's due - they don't quit and they don't lack effort.
Fuck NC State hoops and all they stand for - fuck them. Glad to beat them. All they are is fucking transfers that never go to or went to class. Fucking AAU program in NC State Jerseys. Fuck Keats. VT will never go to a final four in mens hoops- ever. But Keats takes a shit team there with an obese 7 year center and wins 5 games in 5 days with a horseshoe up his ass to even get in the dance. My school is never that fucking random and lucky in ANY SPORT EVER. Fuck NC State hoops and that annoying ass Middlebrooks who has been in the ACC since Len Bias.

I'm trying to understand what they were trying to do on that last play. The two players on the wing barely move. The other two coming to the ball had zero chance of getting the ball turning up court and taking a clean shot. Burnham made a great play on the ball, but Middlebrooks wasn't doing anything with it if he had gotten it. Just good assignment defense there by the Hokies.
Awesome game! They definitely play hard. Even if they stay near .500, it is a lot of fun to watch Lawal make athletic plays and dunks.
