We need to get off the 8 and 9 spot to stay away from Duke in the tournament. We are capable of beating anyone in the ACC except Duke. Win a couple of games and meet Duke and in the final and see what happens. That would be incredible run for this team. Do I think they will do it. No, but I think it is possible. Or maybe I have drinking a bit too much.

I don't begrudge Lynn taking the bag. He is going to finish school with a couple hundred thousand in the bank earning interest and dividends hopefully while he continues to play in Europe.

Was reading the game thread and checked the score to see how bad it was. Saw we were UP by 5 and didn't check again because they were doing well without me.

I just saw the second half (thanks to be alerted to the game being on the cw by ltrepeter2000's game thread) and i gotta say that is the ugliest 11 pt comeback I have ever seen. We tried to give it back to them so many times. Felt great to get there though.

Felt and said the same exact thing. I watched the game after the fact. First one this season.
VT Bball is the best at saying to teams when they start playing like shit and we have a chance to pull away, ". Uhhhhh....dont worry about it, we like to mimic our opponents" so we are crawling our way to -1 throughout most the game or the other team finds their groove and blows us out.

It was like the opposite of watching football, where I felt like we would often look good but find ways to shit the bed just long enough to pull defeat from the jaws of victory, whereas in that second half of that bball game I never felt like we looked good but somehow we just kept clawing until we won.

I think someone also indicated in one of the threads that it should be available on the cw app. Have t verified but assume you can't find it on espn because they didn't televise it

The Hokies are in 8th place by themselves in the ACC. All while Lynn Kidd has 1 win in the ACC.
