Putting this up early because tomorrow morning is busy. I won't get to watch most of the game; so I hope you guys can bring home a winner.
The Ladies travel to LOLUVA Sunday at Noon. The game will be on the ACC Network. The ESPN Predictor gives the Hokies 62% chance to win; but I think that assumes Micheaux will play. The VT website lists Petersen as the probable starter.
Virginia is 12-12, 4-8. They beat us in Blacksburg 73-68 on Jan 16 in a game we should have won. We picked a terrible time to have a really bad game. Since beating us, UVA is 1-6 in their last 7 games.

Lattimore and Johnson led the scoring for UVA in Blacksburg and will likely be a big factor tomorrow. Fortunately 6'7" Lauterbach is still not playing much; but at 6'4" Lattimore is going to be a problem for us without Micheaux. Actually she was a problem when Micheaux played.

They only shoot 42% overall and 31% from three. We are going to have to figure out how to protect the paint without losing the outside shooter in this one to have a chance. Johnson could have a Burrows-like day against us if we leave her open all day.

They won the rebound battle by 10 in Blacksburg; we're going to have to do better tomorrow if we want to win this one. We need to shoot better also; we were 6-20 from beyond the arc in the last game. We also had 17 turnovers in the last game. We need to do better.
This is a winnable game; but we have to play better than we did against Syracuse.
LETS GO HOKIES!

Let's Go!
HOKIES!!
Hopefully Rose is healthy
Or Hazelton and White came a LONG way in a week.
Can't have #35 have her way inside like the first game.
Guess we will see if rose is available
she is not starting per the VT WBB social post with Kayl in starting lineup
No bueno, especially with Wenzel already being a mess with the ball
Wenzel turns it over at the worst moments and too often its basic basketball
Terrible sequence there. Four Hokies to one Wahoo in paint, Wahoo gets the offensive rebounds then defense loses coverage gives up wide open three. Smacked of the last game.
46-28 lead. Smaller lineup for us seems too fast for UVA to handle
kayl has being playing amazingly
66-48 after 3. Pedal to the metal.
really wish carleigh had not shot with 10 sec left... just run out the clock and shoot with less time
Tired of the whining from the BooHoos on every call.
especially since you could call a defensive foul on them nearly every possession
Suck it Hoos!
*me waiting for ltrepeter to post the fam thread so we dont have another duplicate*
So this year JPJ is "Cassell North"?
From the sounds, definitely.
It is so amazing to see these players flourish... Carys doing anything and everything that is asked of her, kayl and rhamiya stepping up, great ball movement, taking open shots that were created by amazing teamwork
Blow out win, without our center.
LET'S GO!!
