For those interested in the softball team, so far they have gone 4-0 on the weekend with one last game today against Charleston at 1:00 in the Charleston Invitational.
They beat Charleston 11-0 in 5 innings yesterday.
Also, something of note, our Lady Hokies are the only top 25 team that has played at least 4 games and have yet to give up a run. Even though the competition hasn't been great it's still pretty impressive to open with four straight run-rule shutouts.

It's nice to see a Hokie team smack down the teams they should smack down.
Today's game made it five, run-rule games for the weekend. Emma Lemley pitched a perfect game. The first of her career (second no-hitter) and sixth in program history.
Right? What a way to open the season.
Hopefully that holds true once we get into conference play and against tougher comp as well. This could be a special team.
