Sweep??
Hokies have a chance to sweep the season series against the Wahoos today. Last time out they controlled about 37 minutes of the game but nearly blew a 13 point lead with three minutes remaining. UVA missed as time expired in a 75-74 final.
The Hokies had a clear advantage in the paint. Tobi Lawal had 17 points but did have foul troubles. Jaden Schutt had his best game of the season on both sides of the ball. Hokies went 1 for 8 at the line in the final minutes though, allowing UVA back into the game.
The game will come down to who makes shots consistently. The Hokies avoided their scoring droughts until right at the end. They need a similar performance today.

LETSSS GOOOOO!
HOKIES
This guy needs his head checked. Reporting that Hokies are "stuck" with Mike Young. Shows he hasn't watched a minute of this team this year. Replaced 80% of his roster and has them playing .500 ACC basketball.

Uhhh anyone else experiencing audio sync issues with YouTubeTV?
Have a green and white screen across YouTube TV on my TV, Phone and just over the air via an antenna.
On youtube tv the picture went insane and is now stuck with a green screen
Don't understand some of these lineups mikes choosing to play. Just some awful basketball in some of those pairings
Awful, sloppy, basketball on offense and defense. We were torching them inside with the first lineup on the court. Haven't seen those guys on the court again since they were subbed and now we're launching threes long (young every time), short (rech every time), and not banging it inside
And like I said....young takes three steps back and is now making his shots that were too long always lmao
Turnovers, bad transition defense, playing like ass right now. Young must be pissed.
Need this win badly to end .500 this season.
we are getting absolutely punked
Why would Schutt jot lob that to Poteat? Why in God's name would you bounce pass through traffic.
I guess there is no such thing as three seconds anymore.
Can't let this get out of hand...trying to mount a comeback against UVa's defense is going to be difficult.
Can't watch live right now but following on e$pn gamecast. Oof.
Reciting with 3 turnovers so far and still on the floor
imagine if anyone other than lawal was also making shots
If they're gonna double team proteat all game, get Lawal, burnham, poteat on the floor at the same time and let the other forwards bang it down low with schutt and whatever guard you want. Stop launching threes
That call on poteat was....wow
Our defense against the three is awful. We give up way too many uncontested shots.
Every time we cut it to like 6 points or so that douchebag drains an uncontested 3.
Poteat playing like trash so far
Bro put anyone else on mcneely rn Christ rech
they are running away and falling down turnaround 3s... idk what else to do
Does mcneely do anything but shoot running fade away threes?
We'd be in great shape without the 5 missed layups.
Layups have been a problem for both the men and women this year. SMH
that was a painful missed layup / no call on the shooting foul
Ben Hammond is a man
CMY pulling a Pry. Had two timeouts to use on the final possession, kept them in his pocket.
This. So much this. No reason not to call a TO and find a better option. Hammond was the hot hand.
Tough loss, we should of had that one. Respect to the McNeely kid, he's a beast.
Did well to battle back, but can't have a start like that, and expect to win.
Defend that prick McNeely, win the game easily. This UVA team sucks. But now we fight to make the ACC tourney. Joy.
I promise not to watch any more games. Sorry guys
Another late game question mark for me... this team was struggling to get a shot all game. Why not use the TO and run a set play for a clean look?
Hokie fans asking about TOs at the end of the game....
CMY answering about his use of TOs....

Turns out Jayden Schutt missed the second half against UVA because he was throwing up at halftime with the flu.
Wondered what happen to him. Didn't remember him playing in second half, but saw him around one of the late huddles during a timeout with a towel over his shoulders.
Thanks for the update.
I can't explain it, but whenever I see Isaac McNeely, I see Gothmog from LOTR
