This week there is no midweek game as they kick off their ACC schedule with a three game set against #25 UVA (15-5) at home for a Commonwealth Clash point. First game is Friday at 6pm. Saturday is 2pm and Sunday is Noon.

Getting ready to leave the house and head to the game (about a two hour drive). Catch lunch in Blacksburg somewhere, then to TSP. Looking forward to seeing some VT bombs!

I really struggle with not ordering the biryani every single time I'm there. But, everything I have had has been great.
The spice levels aren't always consistent. Sometimes a 4 is all I can handle. Sometimes it's mild. And I've seen 3's be hotter than people were ready for. I'm not sure a 5 is on my radar at present. But, every now and then, I get the urge.
Thank you for the tip. If we are ever in the area again, I'll have to suggest this spot to them. We normally go to the Indian place that is over on Prices Fork Road. Did not know this one even existed.

YES! Got to see all four home run bombs today. Yaeger's were shots to left and left center. LeGette hit hers about 2/3 the way up off the scoreboard. And McMillan bounced hers off and over the top of the wall in front of the scoreboard.

uva left a lot of base runners. they definitely had their chances. The HOKIES had some really good defensive plays to end the threats. Couple force outs at home. A 1-6-3 double play. A running, over the shoulder catch in left by Blackwell. And (I think) one other inning ending strikeout.
All in all a good day at the ball park. It was a little chilly! Mid to upper 40's with 10-15 mph winds. But I was dressed for it. Kind of like a late season football game (ha).
My only complaint... the dad-gone home plate umpire was the most inconsistent umpire I've ever seen! The same pitch would hit the mitt in the same place... one time it's a strike, next time it's a ball. The only thing good about him was he was consistently inconsistent for both teams! So there's that.
