Lads went on the road twice this week to Radford and Wake Forest and came home 4-0. They are now 20-8 and 7-5 in the ACC.
This week they start with Radford at home on Tuesday at 1pm on ACCNX.
This weekend they go one the road to Notre Dame (14-11) with Friday 4pm on ACCNX, Saturday 2pm on ACCNX, and Sunday 1pm on ACCNX.

Either Wake was overrated or the polls have been sleeping on us. We deserve have a top 25 ranking to start this week.... Although I wouldn't be upset if denying us a ranking keeps the team hungry.
No, no, no! We didn't beat them because they're overrated. We beat them because we were better than they were. I don't chant it at ball games and won't entertain the notion even here. The polls will catch up if we can keep it up.
I tend to agree. Had we not crapped ourselves against GT this Wake series would have been between 2 ranked teams. Personally I care less about ranking and more about us hosting the first round of the NCAA tournament

Hokies win game three 11-5 and win the series. Go 2-2 on the week
Overall not a great week. Horrible performance against Radford, and dropping the opener against a bad ND is going to do nothing for our rep. Probably took a step backwards as far as ranking votes go, and have some work to do this week.
