Ladies went 4-0 to extend the win streak to 17 games.
Since we didn't get to watch, here is the next best thing on Bre Peck absolutely robbing a homerun with full arm extension over the wall.
CALL OF THE GAME: Bre Peck's robbed home run paced No. 12 @HokiesSoftball in the 12-4 run-rule victory over Notre Dame‼️🎙️ » @gioheater #Hokies 🦃🥎 pic.twitter.com/5HMG3ueEtX— Virginia Tech Sports Network (@HokiesAudio) April 13, 2025
This week the Ladies do not have a midweek game as their series against Pitt starts Thursday to account for Easter Sunday. Ladies are on the road to face the Panthers (14-26). Thursday is at 6pm on ACCNX, Friday is at 6pm on ACC Network and Saturday is at 2pm on ACCNX.
Don't expect much poll movement since losses were SEC losing to SEC. Possibly up to 11 since South Carolina lost twice.

Comments
Nah, we'll probably drop 2 spots to make room for the 20 loss $ec teams...
Ladies move to 11 this week.
Every SEC team (7 teams) ahead of them has the same or more losses than the Hokies.
Their losses just mean more than our wins
Conferences are meaningless now anyway. there are 16 teams in the SEC and 18 in the ACC. Not enough round robin to mean anything. Look at 80% of the SEC hoops getting into the dance. Regular season was meaningless
Can't wait to be the pants off FSU to show them who deserves to crush the SEC in the playoffs
Update to schedule
Thursday, April 17 - 6 PM
Friday, April 18 (DH) - 2 PM & 6 PM

In a replay now
Review goes against Hokies, stays 6-6 with Pitt batting in bottom of the 6th
Going to bottom of 7th still 6-6
Hokies botched two easy outs. Should have been on to 8th but now one out with Eunners on 1st and 2nd
Now a full count walk to load t he bases for Pitts hitter that is 3 for 3 on day
Hokies turn a double play to send it to 8th inning
Hokies come up just short on a Trinity Martin blast, bottom 8th still 6-6
Also had a single to center stolen by a great snag by Pitt 2B
Kleiman just not throwing strikes...starts off 8th with a walk.
Now runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out.
Now 2 outs
Hokies escape with a ground out. On to the 9th.
Hokies have allowed 6 walks
Chatfield 2 out triple just over center fielders diving glove
Nothing doin...on to bottom of 9th
Kleiman gives up another walk with one out in 9th
Single makes it runners on 1st/2nd still with one out
Two outs
Hokies lose on a mistake by the outfielder. Awful loss for Hokies on all fronts. Could really hurt in the rankings since Pitt has a terrible sub 500 record.
Game two of series... little late to the party... 10-0 HOKIES, top of the fourth.
Top of first... solo HR's by McMillan, Lynch, Aldridge, and Peck
Top of second... Grand Slam by Chatfield
Top of third... 2-run HR by Yaeger
Still in top of fourth... 13-0 HOKIES
2-run HR by Castine
Solo HR by Martin
It's a clinic... 14-0 HOKIES
Solo HR by McMillan
Embarrassing for thr ACC that on our own network there is no play by play announcers.
Is anyone surprised this?
I think it makes it more enjoyable to watch! /s
You are right, however.
This game was rescheduled from tomorrow which likely played a role in the scheduling issues
Just get some Pitt students worst case.
Need to do more research, but I think that's a record for HR's in a game, 9.
Also, McMillan's 22nd of the year. New HOKIE single season record.
What? Castine with RBI single. First RBI of game not by HR.
Abromavage... Grand Slam (#10 for the game)
McMillan... HR number 3 for game... number 23 for season
20-0 HOKIES... 0 outs, runner on second, top of 5th
Aldridge with the RBI ground out.
21-0 HOKIES
Too bad they couldn't find any of this yesterday
This is true! They just seemed out of sorts yesterday or something. They had several hard hit balls, but they were right at someone. Pitt made a few defensive gems too. That's the way the ball bounces.
Final... 21-0 HOKIES in five innings.
Game two of todays double header begins at 6 pm. Will be televised on ACCN.
Welp Hokies look like they used it all up in game 1. Down 2-0 in 4th
Lemley looks outta sorts and we can't hit em where they ain't
Finally some fight.
Hokies up 3-2 in the 6th
Welp that was short lived as Hokies give up 3 in bottom of the 6th
Defensive errors and home runs haunting the Hokies this series
5-3 Pitt now
Sorry y'all, I turned the game on. I don't know what happened but suddenly we're down 5-3. My bad.
Sac Fly with bad throw, Wild Pitch to plate another and then a solo shot to end Lemleys House of Horrors weekend
6-3 now on RBI double
There was also this. She was ruled safe on review. Clearly out by feet...not inches. Opened the floodgates
Not even close.
The runner's fingers are at the edge of the Batters box.
Let me guess, Angel Hernandez has come out of retirement to ump college softball?
Extra wide strike zone off the plate in Game 3 was also much like Angel
Welp Ladies are going to Freefall in rankings as they lose game 3, 6-3 and lose the series to Pitt
My wife is convinced they noodled their arms with all the homers and big hits in game 2 and had nothing left for game 3. I could live with game 1, but 3 really bummed me out.
