Everyone on this list except for Love and Gosnell is a transfer. I am not sure how to feel about that. Kind of shatters the recruiting has improved narrative, but they did have to recruit the transfers. I think I am more concerned about the lack of development in year 4, but should I care? Does development even matter anymore? Why develop players? Just go get them out of the portal.
You shouldn't feel good, you still need to develop players even if they are transfers. I don't think there has been a team that only played transfers either.

they did not, but not being able to afford to keep the recruits you developed isn't entirely a coaching problem.... you would have to be insane to be these players and turn down hundreds of thousands in NIL delta. The difference between program payments could be greater than NFL rookie deals. No recruiter can overcome that.

The advantage of the portal is that someone else has invested in developing them.
I feel like part of my gaming soul has died, but I have no more interest in this series. Between being in a different place in life and not being able to deal with the sports any more, I have zero care for this game.
