It's officially August/Late Summer! The postseason is almost over! Thank the football gods/demons/gremlins! This year I'm doing something different and not waiting until Thursday of Week 1 to post something.
As the 2025 Pick 6 season dawns, it's only right to look back, briefly at our 2024 Season performances.

Now let's let the past be the past and look forward to this MINT IN BOX season. I don't know about you, but I'm hoping for a 9-3 regular season with a flurry of fresh, iconic GIFtory Pick 6s to poach!

I'm in! Able to change my entry name, but when I edit my avatar it doesn't seem to take.
That's a CBS issue. I checked settings and there's nothing that addresses avatars. Could your picture file be too big?
I feel like all of the fantasy sports sites are very persnickety with avatar uploads. ESPN always gives me a hard time. This may also be due to the fact that my fantasy team has been the Hokie pokies for several seasons now and I have been flagged for inappropriate content lol.

Along the top line, click "SETTINGS", Then "MY ENTRY". You can change Entry Name in the top box.
You can also edit avatar from this page as well. I t might take a bit (like an hour or so) to really take, but give it some time. They will typically tell you if the image is too large.

Did that for 3 games last year-
Vandy-Worked Friday; left Richmond 830pm Friday night; arrived at Vandy at 530am, tailgated til 10; game from 11-3; drove to Asheville to see a band at Salvage Station (RIP) and got to bed at 4am at friend's house; drove back to Richmond Sunday afternoon- 1300 mile road trip
Clemson-worked Friday, pool tournament Friday night 7-11; club from 1130-2am; picked up by friend at club, arrived at Lot 18 at 530;tailgate til 215pm; game from 330-730; drive back to Richmond and dropped off at club at 11pm and stayed til 2am closing.
UVA-Friday Busch Gardens Christmastown noon til 8; back to the club in Richmond 9-2am; picked up at club and drove to Lot 18 arriving 530; tailgated 545am-630pm; game 8-1130 ; drive back to Richmond arriving home 245am Sunday.
Each of those games, our tailgating started at 545am or earlier-and drinking nearly continuous except while on the highway.

I haven't watched much (if any) college football outside of VT games in the last 3 years or so. Incidentally, I haven't won the pick 6 in about 3 years or so. I guess we'll do it all again. Because, insanity.
It is more fun to blindly pick. I seem to do better that way than informed decisions.
Likewise, I just make all my picks based on how teams played between 2015 and 2022 turns out that isn't a winning strategy
I compare coaches first names and then account for injuries, GT vs VT is equal and they had a qb out so VT wins

A little slow, but I'm now in. Counting on 4-leaf clover leprechaun style luck to have any chance to just get to mediocre.
Are there picks to be made for this weekend? If so I'm a bit screwed cause I'm heading to the Adirondacks tomorrow morning and will have no cell service or internet..
