He's moved on up in the rankings to be the 2nd 5* recruit in Hokie basketball history!

Congrats Neo, and congrats to the coaching staff for bringing in what arguably could end up being the top rated recruit in VT history, football or basketball. While Kevin Jones is regarded as our best ever recruit, 247 didn't exist nor were there ratings available at that time, so the best we have is Kendall Fuller, who was a 98 ranked recruit when he signed with us in football, same as Neo.

Dastardly...
Alum lol wtf...
@ joe - plz remove all his turkey legs
Change the DAMN Title. Moving On means something completely different then Moving UP!
I said what I said, and meant it!
I'm glad I read the two new comments on the other post. Otherwise, I'd have had a heart attack!
No one mentioned RichRod
Can someone just delete this now? This is stupid. Haha. Funny troll job, dude.
Who's the first 5-star? Dfs?
Finney-Smith
Nigel Munson?
This is how I see Alum after he posted this:

Bruh
Some men just want to watch the world burn...
Now I want to see the original title....
Something to the effect of "Neo is moving on..."
.....
up
in attempt to salvage this thread, I'll remind everyone that in addition to Avdalas (G/F) being rated a 5-star international prospect,
Antonio Dorn (C) was rated as a 4-star international prospect
Isiah Pasha was (PG) rated as a 4-star NCAA transfer
Amani Hansberry (F/C) was rated as a 4-star NCAA transfer
Christian Gurdak (C) was rated as 4-star HS prospect
Sincere Jones (F/C) is a 4-star HS prospect
that's a hell of an incoming class
247 Class Calculator gives it a 61.4; good for 21st nationally and 7th in the ACC.
Highest ranking since 2017 (NAW, Bede, Horne)
Highest rating since 2011 (DFS, Rankin, R. Brown, Barksdale, JVZ)
note: this does not include Brett Freeman
The 2011 class followed the infamous "certifiably insane" 2010-2011 season, which presaged Greenberg's last year and the two years of James Johnson.
The 2017 class followed the first of
threefive consecutive March Madness appearances across two coaches. This follows our first losing season in a decade.
It's surprising that CMY can pull this kind of class at the lowest point of Tech basketball since James Johnson, while those other two classes were either at the peak or start of the peak of those coaches' tenures.
Maybe Chester is helping here?
Chester and $$$. Winning combo.
Which says a lot about ACC recruiting this year.
I was all impressed with our class then saw that it was only good for 21st and 7th! in conference and was like "Damn, what does a guy have to do to get ahead around here!?!?"
Good perspective. I've had good feelings about this year's team. We got some ballers!
boooo the mods are no fun
Maybe just save that stuff for April 1st? Being a Hokie is hard enough already, man.
This is not to be downplayed. This is a huge deal. We have had key players not cleared before. It's never happened to UNC or Michigan, but its happened to us.
