Crazy for a guy that averaged less than 2 tackles per game....I get that he created opportunities for teammates and disrupted additional plays but just nuts he gets a say in who they pursued in the portal.

The loonies are running more and more of the asylum. Never a good thing, but.........more importantly, did anyone happen to catch the article below this one?
By the dB data, Lane Stadium is the 7th loudest college football stadium in the country.
We are Top 10 in one CFB category. BOOYAH!!!

And Lane also the smallest seating capacity on the list with exception of Oregon's Autzen stadium (which -like Washington's Husky stadium- has the large overhang that "holds/traps noise" AND is a "full bowl"-no gaps between sides and end zone stands unlike Lane which has neither.)
Oregon
Washington
Not to mention we are still loud now (for a while at least)-despite the (to phrase it too gently) 'lackluster' performance on the field....

I'm just saying, when we do renovate Lane, I would absolutely explore putting one of those overhangs up that protects the fans. Not necessarily for fan comfort but because it would further trap noise and make the stadium truly deafening

Screw fan comfort, maximum opponent lack of comfort
Edit: except the locker room they should have the plushest chairs and should be cozy arm for cold games, anything to make the transition back out to the field awful. Pump cinnamon through the air vents to make it smell wonderful.

I think its great that the coaching staff is teaching more nuanced parts of football the the students. I dont understand why most players aren't involved in learning how to break down film to bring in other players as its a big part of the game.
This is a sport for amatuers right? Having the amatuers invovled to the maximum extent makes sense right?

This is the $EC way. For those clamoring saying we HAVE to be in the $EC, this is how the game is played. And this is on a team that's only had 2 winning seasons in-conference in the last 11.

I don't care either way? This is how the system should work. This dude did the same thing Nico did to Tennessee, and SCar didn't have the nuts to call the bluff. This doesn't really impact how I consume the sport in any discernible way.

Imagine how loud it would be if we started winning, played night games, and had the students stay past halftime...
/ducks
Why the /s? Why duck?
You speak da trute, man!
That dam truth, one might say.

Every Season ticket comes with a free set of Loop earplugs. Hey, we could even do it as a sponsorship
Why do we not have a Dr. Pepper sponsorship?
Roanoke region is highest sales of Dr. Pepper in the country.
I think the IRL Dr. Pepper was from Montgomery County. Make it happen Whit
edit: nevermind, apparently there isn't even a tangential connection to this part of the country. Whit should still make it happen though
This kind of stuff creates rot in the locker room.
Let it be so.

I hope he's awful at player evaluation.
Shane let a player turn him into a cuck
My goodness. How long till we all just tune out? It's a damn game....
This seems unhealthy.
