Yeah they're quality. I was worried all off-season about them. Elliott has them competitive. I think their ceiling is still like 6-8 wins, if we were any good at all as a program we'd be able to beat them, but they're probably gonna steamroll our smoking husk of a team Thanksgiving Weekend.

I cannot describe the exquisite levels of Schadenfreude I am experiencing while watching my little brother and the Clemson wing of our family all melt down over how their season is going. I have even stopped trying to cheer them up with our VT shared misery as they seem inconsolable. I haven't heard the fateful words yet of seeking a new head coach, but you can sense the loss of faith that is growing with each loss. So delicious! So deserved!

Continually running right up the gut, what was that play call on 4th and 1, and his moronic use of tempo has put them in a lot of 3rd and 4th down situations. I think they've been just going too fast. Slow that shit down and churn clock and grind them down.

Bob Shoop was actually the main DC and defensive play caller at Vandy, Pry was just co-DC and sort of learning the ropes. Same with the first two years at PSU.

It truly was a good game, but was like seeing a car wreck. You hate it for the people but you can't help but look. I sat it out and hated every minute of it because it just seemed like UVA was for real and was somehow going to win that game, regardless of the turnovers on offense. FSU looked good, but their defense just couldn't stop the 'hoos. I fear for our season a lot more now and my weekend is ruined since I can't watch the Hokies regardless of how the NCS game goes. What a world, what a world.

Looking at the stats from last night I dont see anything in particular that stands out. I think it really came down to FSU not completing a couple drives - the missed FG in their opening drive to start the 2nd half, and going for it on 4th & 1 from the UVA 22 with <3 min to go in the 4th. Covert either of those and its a different outcome. I was also surprised at how clean the game was - 9 penalties combined, and UVA only committing 4 of those for a paltry 25 yards.

Last night was declared a mass casualty event with over 15 people in the hospital or at the stadium medical facility. At least one was seen carried off on a stretcher. Pepper spray was needed to break up fights in the crowd.
Have seen statements that several FSU players were injured but that does not appear to have been confirmed by FSU at this time.

If you had ticket access to the hill and the crowd push behind you gave you only one option to go for your safety I can't see that as willful trespassing. There is no barrier between the legal area to be on the hill and the actual field so there is nothing there to stop the movement forward. Clemson has a barrier at the bottom of their hill to block access to the field. It is a situation that could have been avoided by the university.
