You have to actually pass the ball for have roughing the passer...it's right there in the name of the fouls. They ruled it a fumble and was hit while ball still in his had. Therefore it would be roughing the runner. Which is not a foul. They should have picked up the flag.

For all the criticism he's gotten (a lot earned) he was amazing tonight
KD was both great and terrible tonight. There was a point where a lot of fans were calling for Pop Watson to sub in. Drones also was a dominate runner at the end of the game. His passing is just so damn inconsistent.

Drones is a fine college quarterback when we use him like we did last night. He was unstoppable
You can't do that every single week, because a lot of teams will eventually stop you if you run the same two plays over and over. But IMO we could've been doing that way more often than we have over the last two years instead of putting him in crappy situations.

With as bad as the officiating was, I'm pleasantly surprised both targeting calls were overturned. The second one was at least a late hit, but that makes up the BS roughing the passer that let them tie it. But forget all that, WE WON FAM!!!

Moore and Brooks should get consideration. As bad as we've been, the RBs have been really strong under him. Moore only has 4 games under Pry and had a good track record at WVU.

Mike Elko came into Duke and immediately had one of the best olines in the conference in year one. There are coaches out there who can do it. Especially with the free transfer era.
I don't think we need to keep Moore for oline continuity. The next coach, assuming we hire a good one, will bring in the right people to get things working quickly

My freshman we'd get tired of playing the fight song cause our RB was a D1 player and he just steam rolled everyone. Our kicker was also D1 so kickoff went over the up right.

I believe most of the cowbell is handled by the football parents😆 Mostly it's a lot of "tomahawk chop" which is odd for me to enjoy now as much as I HATE the Braves (from the 90s) and FSU (always). Mr. Friend is an excellent band director.

Yeah we did the tomahawk chop drum cadence when I was there, but cowbell was our drum line feature foe the quads that I would say rivals VTs "stick it in" cadence

FAM....Drones somehow leads the ACC in total touchdowns with 21 (14 passing/7 rushing). He is 6th overall in rushing TDs. Haynes King is actually #1 in rushing TDs with twelve. Drones is 4th in passing TDs with three guys tied at 17.
Definitely not a stat I thought could be this season.
