The Ladies start their season hosting Towson. The game will be on ACC Network extra. I know nothing about either team and don't have much time. My men's small group is due is a few minutes and I will be working the poll all day tomorrow. Talk among yourselves. We should be better than last year and Towson is probably not very good; so a typical early season warmup.

I had a preseason write up about two weeks ago which had some info about the two teams. Basically, the Hokies have 9 veteran players but it's a shorter lineup, with Baker being the likely big, though there are some Frosh who will be getting gametime tonight who are taller. Behind those 9 starters are 2 touted freshmen (Sears is out with injury) and Brecelj.
Towson likely starts four transfers. They have no good shooters from outside. They finished #206 in NET ranking last year.
This game should be over by halftime.
Through an ugly first quarter, the Hokies lead, and Wenzel is just off pace for a quadruple double.

This settles some momentary confusion I had. I didn't know and wasn't paying attention during play, but had trouble spotting the outlines during a close up and thought I was just having a moment. 😅
