Never would wish an injury on someone, so I hope he is able to return to full health. However, I hope he never wins a game for Klempson
This really stings for the Klempson fans here is South Carolina. They have had zero news this offseason, and they have been overshadowed by Clowney. It's all Clowney Clowney Clowney here. I will be thankful when both programs are soon irrelevant once again.
I'll drink to that
Do South Carolina fans claim themselves to be DBU?
To my knowledge, no they don't claim to be DBU. They pride themselves more on the DL than anything (again, with the Clowney mania).
When Michael Barnett decommitted recently I got really fearful because of USCe's prowess on the recruiting trail, especially on the DL.
If they ever start referring to themselves as "DBU" I'll stop cheering for them against klempson
You should. This 4 year run of good football has made some of their fans intolerable. I moved here and pulled for USCe in that matchup. But since then I've realized that it's much easier to tolerate when Clemson is winning and my Clemson friends are typically more fun to talk football with.
USCe fans don't want to talk football outside of the SEC and the majority of them pull for every SEC team (thanks for the loss last night Kentucky). I went to a bar in Downtown Columbia for the first half of the Auburn/FSU game and you wouldn't believe how many "Auburn Fans" live in Columbia. It was so nice when they were all "butthurt" the next day.
After graduating from Tech, I did Basic at FT Jackson starting in early July. Saw a ton of their fans passing through the post, and even thought of going to a home game. Incredible humidity there in the summer time.
I'll never understand the "rooting for all SEC teams" regardless. It cheapens the allegiance to your own team. I liken it to myself as a Steelers fan rooting for all others in the AFC North. That type of behavior is unacceptable.
Thats a good way to put it. I hate the browns, loathe the bungles and absolute despise the ravens. I think the same goes for miami, clemson and those douches at the other Exit 118
Edit: It is incredibly fitting that I get my 1k turkey leg on a post about how much I hate other teams. I cant count how many times Ive yelled "fuck uva" in Lane...even when we arent playing them
not just 118...but 118b. an interesting coincidence...
Depends on the direction. On 64 WB it's 118B, but going back east it's just 118. If memory serves.
It's definitely 118b east bound. I grew up in cville and my dad still lives there. I take 64e from 81 into cville all the time
You know what, I got my exits switched up. 118 has A and B in both directions. 121, only one direction.

Don't look now, but they do put a good number of talented DBs into the league.
They don't have the longevity that we have but they do pretty well once they hit the league.
Yes. I have heard several of my friends call USCe DBU. I laughed and said Kam Chancellor and Brandon Flowers are Pro-Bowl Defensive Backs, who you got?
Not to mention DeAngelo Hall.
Damn right.
Yeah I had a former coworker that LSU is DBU because they've put more starters in the draft and NFL than Tech.
He should be back for fall camp, unless surgery is required. Looks like a similar thing (but much worse) happenned to the other RW at the U.
I always thought with collarbones, surgery expedited the healing process considerably. It seems like seeing guys playing after that type of surgery within 6 weeks isn't all that uncommon.
When I broke my collarbone, I didn't have surgery, and it took about 6 months to heal.
I am ready for Swag Kelly
They're down another one:
"Clemson QB Chad Kelly dismissed"
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/eye-on-college-football/2452671...
So was this just because he had a bad attitude towards the coaches?
Seems a little flimsy, what with all that doesn't get a guy kicked off a team.
Having said that, I guess a coach can kick a player off a team for whatever he wants. Weird, I wonder if there are more details.
From what Clemson fans tell me, he hasn't been well-liked since arriving on campus.
I don't recall him getting into big trouble a la Cody Journell (he may have), but if you throw a tantrum after being taken out of the spring game.....? Yeah, Dabo can eliminate who he chooses.
I think a lot of us immediately disliked him after he released this a few years back:
Real life Thad Castle
you know how everyone was talking about how cocky Famous Jameis is? Well, I think that this takes the cake/pie (whichever suits you)..hands down
Is this real life?
It's definitely someone's fantasy
Holy toolshed, Batman, what a tool.
It wasn't just about his bad attitude towards the coaches, although I'm sure that played a part.
Apparently, he was the passenger in a car that backed into another student's car at an apartment complex recently.
The student, Ali Rodgers (side note: Ali Rodgers was Miss South Carolina in 2012), said she was going to call the police and file an accident report, at which point Kelly got out of the car and tried to convince her not to, and, according to Rodgers was "extremely disrespectful" about it.
This is all according to a statement Rodgers released via Facebook/Twitter.
Full quote from Rodgers is included in this article:

Kid needs to get his head on straight. Everything I've read about him paints a picture of a piece of s***.
I dunno I'd back into her.
There are easier ways to exchange phone numbers with a girl, but I suppose the fender-bender route reduces the chance of getting a fake.
I think she'd be a little upset if she got hit by a horse
Bwahahahaha!! Classic!
It starts here:
And goes here:
Dang, HOAT, what did you say?
Is that Mongo?
I called him a cheater.
Not just a horse, the back end of a horse.
Have you googled Ali Rogers? OMG....I would have fixed her car myself and then waxed it.
LOLKlempson
Jim Kelly's nephew...This guy is a punk...I think kicking him off the team will probably help them. I don't even think Clemson fan's like this guy. This is embarrassing. He has some groupie rapper doing tribute songs for him.
Watch this video...quite entertaining.

Here are some comments on the Youtube thread:
"Jesus Christ kid, stop doing this kind of shit. You are making hundreds of thousands of alumni embarrassed that you are wearing our colors..."
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA this is so goddamn pathetic. I hope he never starts."
"because it is well known that mr. kelly is an arrogant little prick who calls out fellow team members before stepping foot on campus. i'm ashamed that he calls clemson home."
"I Googled 'massive tool' and t brought me here. Strange."
" What a JOKE this is. Chad Kelly you suck ! You will never start for Clempsum and I hope they paid you well, cause you will never make it to the LEAGUE !!!! "
"I am a Clemson student and I would not mind Clowney laying him out..."
"all of Clemson hung their heads low after watching this video..."
Great comments...love it.
I know...great comment. That was my favorite one!
Actual lyric..."Chad Kelly QB reppin for his team, you can hate him, you can doubt him, you ain't stoppin his dream."
Looks like Dabo didn't agree with this lyric.
From ESPN article:
Clemson quarterback Chad Kelly introduced himself to fellow quarterback Cole Stoudt in unabashed fashion in January 2012, before he even put on a Tigers uniform:
"Your on the bench for a reason. And i come soon! Just letting you know," Kelly tweeted.
