I am not as upset about this as I thought I would be. He's been a huge disappointment.
He was an enigma.
It seems like he was one of the first to run really lazy routes, but French highlighted him blocking his ass off against Louisville.
It just never really felt like a great fit here.
The timing is definitely odd is it seems that he would be out of Eligibility--although eligibility in modern college football is more of a "vague concept" than anything concrete.
Essentially, if you can find a lawyer...you can find some more eligibility hiding somewhere.
Not to mention that, in all likelihood, with a new coach next year our roster will probably look completely different.
This is effectively a lost season so...
