Love that!
Love the production on these videos.
Imagine how these amazing videos are going to hit in a year or two when VT is going to take the field the next day and absolutely beat the piss out of the opponent.
Hell of a video.
And maybe the sweetest Hokie stone unis so far.
Lot of 'croots on campus, break out the unis.
It's about time we used these again. Also... Love Turnstile
Jaden Keller is a pretty good voice over artist
At least he's got that going for him.
Anyone know if they'll be selling those? They're awesome.
It'd be cool if they did. They sold them last time these were worn.
I own one from the Bristol game, would 100% buy another
I always assumed that was the true point of one off jerseys. Great way to drive a little extra merch revenue
Great way to add a little to the NIL bucket.
Absolutely love the helmet. I want one.
Is it just me or has our video production really stepped it up lately? They must have brought in some new talent. This is a pretty sweet look in my opinion. May have to get some new merch.
They've definitely upped their game.
The industry has changed a lot in the last 5 to 10 years; it's a lot easier and cheaper to learn this stuff and to hire around it. Combine that with the advent of Video-driven social media - a lot of kids are able to teach themselves to basics of this in high school.
My roommate was one of the people making these videos 15+ years ago. He had to be taught everything from scratch. Now every kid wants to be an influencer/content creator, so a lot of them have seeker this out on their own.
Also professional level tools (DaVinci Resolve, Affinity, even Canva to some extent) are free or cheap so the barrier to entry is super low.
And free high quality stock video/photos are available in abundance to work/supplement with.
Per Clark Ruhland, these jerseys were in the works prior to Franklin being hired, so this has been the plan for a while to go with these jerseys this weekend. I do find it interesting that they are just literally the 2016 jerseys repurposed (they aren't the current trim, its the Nike template from 10 years ago).
But I do find it very interesting that this is the look we have during Franklin's first game here. A special jersey that is lightyears away from anything Penn St would allow the team to wear.
If anyone notices these for sale, the jersey frame I would be filling requires a size Medium, thank you!..... /s
(but for real, if they're not widely available and you see one, I'll Venmo you plus shipping)
People are hunting them...full Reddit thread on trying to find them
