Last night Navy took over the game in the second half and Memphis has no answer at all. The TOP stat was ridiculous
DONT. POST. EVIDENCE. ONLINE.
Are there any fans at the Ohio at Buffalo game? Somehow looks like more sparsely attended than a Tuesday MAC covid game.
Now a fight in the Egg Bowl. Mississippi State Athletic Director came on the field and was yelling at Kiffin after a QB fumble led to a larger altercation. Not much to it but pushing and shoving but can't recall a time seeing an AD on the field.
I don't care if State started it, it was probably still Ole Miss's fault #LandGrantsStickTogether
edit: nevermind, Ole Miss definitely started it. Piling on late, pulling guys by the facemasks...eject their entire starting defense
Except Mississippi State was on defense
It's really pissing me off that GT/UGA is being played at a neutral site. And of course GT is the side who had to give up their home game.
What a travesty for college football to take a historic rivalry game off campus and put it in a sterile dome.
They took a check for $10M for it. Might've just been a business decision by GT
Wow. Understandable business decision but still a shame for the sport.
Agreed.
Hate the trend towards domes overall in the sport. Football is meant to be played in the elements
There's a Baylor @ auburn game (part of a Home and Home) in an upcoming season that did the same thing. Baylor fans are pissed bc they want to experience Jordan Hare, not some generic nfl stadium.
It sucks man
I absolutely love Bobby Dodd at night because it's on of the few stadiums that has am urban background to it. Its a cool experience.
Yea... I mean I'm married into a GT family, and none of them are upset about the game being in the Benz. Especially in this weather.
UGA fans go to Bobby Dodd every other year anyways. There will be many opportunities.
But for those one off home and homes it really sucks.
I dont see any GT fan upset, the Benz is fantastic and way warmer. And better transportation.
Better transportation? I guess it depends where you live. But the north ave spot is not far at all from Bobby dodd
MARTA'd to both, and there's not enough difference to matter.
Pro-SEC announcers and refs can Kiss. My. A$$!
Man...mental image of everyone from ESECPN puckering up...

Dude!
I like the "ESECPN". Leg for you!
I saw GT graphics on the jumbotron so I assumed it was still a home game for them and, as someone else pointed out, they took home a lot of $ to do it. It would seem reasonable and profitable to me for both teams to play in the dome in ATL every 3 years. Still play the home and home but add in the dome game to the rotation. I would think both schools would benefit from that arrangement but especially GT with the prime viewership on ESPN plus additional ticket sales.
GT was a pic and 3 penalties away from winning that game. Unfortunate.
Texas A&M QB Marcel Reed goes down in 1st Quarter...guess they aren't a CFP team anymore, right ESECPN? Isn't that how this works?
Had the same thought lol. Glad he's back up though, was worried his ankle might've exploded for a second
Glad I didn't take the over in this Texas/A&M game
Is the color on Texas-ATM way desaturated? It looks "artistic"
Yeah. Looks weird
Aggies look like they're in trouble. The biggest thing I've noticed though is Arch really likes to try and chuck the ball when he's on his way down. Seems like a great way to make a bad situation worse
I see some UGA fans having despair about being in the conference championship game after TAMU shat the bed. If that isn't the epitome of the system is broken, I dont know what is.
Every sport in the world (including college football) has figured this out except for FBS... an organization of institutes of higher learning
Looks like Ohio St in the back pockets of the refs, Big10 review crew, and Fox Sports. No way that TD call should have been upheld. No control and coming down out of bounds == TD, if you are the #1 and your conference needs your to get first round bye
Virginia Tech (Danny Coale caught that ball!) knows a little about that.
BYU trying to blow their shot at the playoffs. Trail UCF 14-0
Would have been an awesome loss, but they turned it around.
Ohio St starting to dominate. Underwood keeps throwing to the wrong shoulder of his running back in the flat. Killing his up field momentum
I've been a little out of the loop on the ACC as a whole since our season got torpedoed, but who are we rooting in the other games to assure that uva doesn't back into the ACC title game?
It's all down to the good guys
I think I read that Virginia is in regardless now, with Pitt looking at no chance of beating Miami?
How does UVA win the tiebreaker if there are 4 teams at 6-2 if we beat them? If SMU loses to Cal you would have 5 tied at 6-2.
UVA 5-1 still to play
SMU 5-1 still to play
GT 6-2
Miami 6-2
Pitt 6-2
UVA has no head to head record against those 5 which says everything about the strength of schedule.
And this is why I hate divisionless conferences with more teams than games scheduled.....
My guess in the potential five-way tie.
As noted, UVA played none so finishes 0-0 head to head
SMU is 1-0 beating Miami
GT is 0-1 losing to Pitt
Miami is 1-1 beating Pitt, losing to SMU
Pitt is 1-1 beating GT, losing to Miami.
loluva has to win or is eliminated. SMU is now in, not matter what at either 7-1 or 6-2. GT is out. Miami beat Pitt so they are in and Pitt is out. No idea what the tie breaker rules are, but based on head-to-head or actually lack of head-to-head meetings, this seems like the likely answer. Since likely, will not be the answer because this is the ACC.
I don't really care if they get into the acccg or not. I just want to beat the snot out of them on their own turf tonight. Regardless, they won't win the ACC. They've had an extremely easy schedule and have had incredible luck. They're soft AF and whether or not our worst team in 30+ years can beat them, they're not winning any games in December. I know that much
If they lose tonight I think they are out and it's a big tie for second place now with SMU having clinched. Sounds like it would be Miami by all accounts.
That's a nightmare choice. Boohoos or BakBois
This Minn-Wisc game is fun in the snow
Rutgers-Penn State is in the middle of trying to out-lose one another. Rutgers QB just fumbled for no reason at all and Penn State scored a defensive TD.
Edit: looks like Rutgers is going to lose this one on a stupid and completely unnecessary hold.
Unfortunately that gives Pedo a bowl game
SMU Ponies are choking right now. Down 10-7 and just had a pass get picked off and Cal is set up in the red zone already
17-7 after Cal converts for a td following the INT. 10:29 left in the 2nd, but still intriguing
Mustangs really need to get back in otherwise UVA will cakewalk Duke in ACCCG and be in CFP. The money will pour in if they get there
UCLA is beating USC right now. 10-7 halfway through the 3rd and driving. Could be an interesting upset if nothing else.
USC looks like they'll survive the scare. 21-10 with 3:30 left
Apparently Michigan player head butted a referee today and didnt get tossed. This was after the play and ref was admonishing him for extracurricular activity

You can bet MGOBLOG has an extensive write up tomorrow about how the real egrigious offense was the official trying to break the Michigan players helmet with his face and how dare he.
#DannyCoalecaughtthatdamnball.org
SMU just allowed a TD with Cal at 2nd and goal from the 24.
If the ACC wasn't such a complete fucking clownshow they would tell Duke to fuck off and make UVa play Miami who is clearly and inarguably more deserving and appropriate for the ACCCG.
No matter who loluva plays next week, it will most likely be the lowest rated ACC Championship Game on record.
More proof on how shit this conference is
Auburn just tied Bama up. That could be fun if that Jordan Hare magic shows up
Bama pulled ahead with a TD drive. 27-20, 3 min left, Auburn ball
Bama forces a fumble with :33 seconds left and the Jordan Hare magic wasn't to be this year. Bama v UGA in the SEC CG
SMU only down 3 now with 8 mins to go.
Now with the lead
Cal will need a TD in final 2:22 to win
This is all because I turned that game off for the Bama/Auburn game
And now they're up with 2:22 left
SMU now leading on Cal which puts them back into the ACC Championship game
SMU playing prevent is really brain dead
And now losing
WOW, that was a very #GoACC call after the review. He was down 6 inches short lol
Irish starting out hot against Stanford in Palo Alto. 21-0 30 seconds into the second after an 84 yard fake punt TD pass.
SMU will have about 40 seconds and 1 timeout to get a FG to tie
So much for that timeout. Very comical move by the center to hold the ball there on the bad snap
That was definitely a chop block
Didn't matter with that bad miss
Welp guess I have to cheer for Duke next week.... gross
You can bet your ass I will.
SMU loses, a POS Duke team plays a mediocre UVA for the championship. this conference is a disgrace
Fighting Mullens of UNLV up 35-10 over UNR with 6 left in the 3rd. Looks like a 10 win season for the Rebels. He may get a random godfather offer for whoever misses on their targets in the carousel this year.
