It is complete malpractice on the Penn St side that they don't have a coach trying to keep these dudes in the boat. I'll take it, for sure, but I can't believe that they didn't see this coming/have half a plan to offset it.
Go Hokies though, nice to be eating someone else's lunch for once.
Definitely hard to believe they still don't have a coach. I guess it's pretty clear that they aren't promoting Terry Smith or they would have done so by now to try and save at least part of their class.
And then there will be a whole new round with current players in January when the portal opens.
I love all the recruits were are getting and the future looks great. But if we can get a handful of Penn St starters from the portal in January, that would pay immediate dividends.
Or two handfuls
Goliath handfuls!
My old ass who has followed the Hokies for years and is used to things going sideways would be happy with a handful. But this is a new day, so yes Goliath handfuls!
Just Tony Rojas and Amare Campbell would fix a lot of our problems
We still have a chance to flip 1-3 more of their commits, leaving them with 2.
Top 10 player in Michigan!
In his recent playoff game.
Picturing him lining up in goal line as the extra OL and drifting into end zone for big boy TD
ACC refs would have thrown the flag for a block in the back at the 2 yard line :-)
The ref from the Cal game would've called roughing the passer
I think he retroactively just did and now we lost the Cal game.../s
Our Advent recruiting calendar keeps on giving. So looking forward to improved offensive line play. French pointed out how much the run blocking has improved. Hope for the pass blocking to catch up and we can have the first truly good offensive line at VT since, what, the early 2000s? It has been so long, it is hard to remember.
I think the combo of new croots, a new coach for the OL, and a new QB that doesn't need 5 seconds to find an open receiver will all combine for massive improvements next year.
