Boom! Franklin strikes again
I like this pickup. He played two ACC opponents and held up well. UConn played a ton of man to man with heavy reliance on inside and outside leverage techniques, very similar to how the Hokies used their corners when Torrian Gray was the coach. He is physical, and was very willing to try and set the edge when called upon against Boston College. I don't think he is a guy that is going to pick off a bunch of passes, but he won't get torched either.
Just for reference- UConn played Duke and Boston College this season.

Hey, not trying to censor you or anything. Obviously the majority seems to like the thing, and several seem to know the actor and whatever it is he's in, but I don't know either and maybe that's part of it. Being an old timer, I often don't get some pop culture stuff you guys toss about anyway, just don't like this one enough to have said so.
But, of course, YOU DO YOU! The more I have to see it, the better we are doing, so there's that.
All the clips are from a Canadian comedy called Letterkenny. It is a odd show...
From what I saw (about 2/3 of the first episode), I'd have to agree. /shrug
It's overall good to great. Certain episodes and the later seasons get a bit too hung up on running/repetition gags. Shoresy (the hockey-focused spinoff) is also good to great but you can tell Jared (the creator) gets a bit too much fun with casting hot 20-somethings for 2-5 seconds of screentime.
I would argue that Shorsey is the much better show, I love letterkenny, but Shorsey takes everything up a notch. The writing is better mainly because it has an overarching plot that you dont get with letterkenny so it builds throughout the season.
Shoresy is way better than Letterkenny. Letterkenny was Jared's first project, and also one that I think ran too long for him, especially through covid.
He uses everything he learned from Letterkenny and makes Shoresy a great show.
Agree that the first 8 seasons of Letterkenny are better than the post-covid seasons, although I rewatched the post-covid seasons recently and with the exception of the whole Jivin' Pete/Dary flirting with being a degen arc (what were they even trying to say with that) I found them better than I remembered.
But while I love Shoresy too, I still like Letterkenny better. Wider range of characters, snappier dialogue, makes me laugh harder *shrug* it appeals to all sides of me as opposed to just my meathead sports fan side.
