Is this how big dogs always feel about the portal? Just more good news every (checks watch) 12 hours? Michael seems like he's big enough to help fill a position of need. Another great pick-up!
Take it with a grain of salt, but saw something that Franklin is also doing the scheduled roll outs of some already committed guys with a few more lined up
So...is he holding out on us with Grunk and the 5star TE then? (Went all french there and forgot his name). I hope so. I feel like I cant stop the anxiety of losing recruits bc its been SO bad the past decade. God bless you JMFF. Im ready for a good team again.
Thought we already had the 5 star te
The 3 star committed but the 5 star hasn't officially yet
You are saying theres another 5 star? Because a 5 star hs recruit 4 star transfer at te was who i was thinking of
That is who he's talking about too. Supposedly in the boat just no announcement yet. Maybe Franklin told him and Grunk to wait until the end for effect
I guess JMFF used to be the one stealing recruits from us haha
Even if he's got the commitments, but is scheduling rollouts, I don't care. My main thing is, when was the last time we had a portal class we were actually excited about, that we felt could turn things around for us?
Also, it warms my heart every time I see one coming from PSU, knowing it will be harder and harder for them to turn their roster over and be competitive next year. Plus, what an F-U to the administration for firing Franklin. Warms the heart.
I actually think rolling out the commits apart from each other is smart. It keeps tech in the news cycle with recruits. If nothing else they see people continuing to comit even if they all committed two weeks ago.
Better to slow roll the announcements to keep the team in the news than all at once and younger anything more till spring game.
Oh, I get the strategy of doing it that way, my point is that even for ones we haven't heard about yet, this is still an exciting class, and if there are more to roll out, it just gets better.
That and I love seeing the ones coming from PSU!
It definitely seems like a point of emphasis is the defensive line and being able to put pressure on opposing QBs. Can't wait to see how our D-line does this year!
Edit: and I like the rollout approach for us as well. Keeps the offseason excitement going!

BEEF!!
Depth at OL? In this economy?
That's allowed?
Hey, an inside OL!
He played RG in HS. His tape was from his Jr. season, and he looked pretty good against some other big kids. Moved his feet well and did quite well in pass blocking. I think he could be higher rated if he was an inch or two taller. Question is, can he play at 350lbs? /s
It's sort of fun to Big Dawg Penn State. These guys obviously know and like Franklin.
Congrats to Michael. This is home.
.... that and maybe the NIL money?
Penn State also has NIL money. But sure, I'm sure that's always part of the decision.
I hear this guy's really good.
