Did dual duty with Marshall of punting and place kicking but spent last season just punting. 45.6 yard average on 56 punts.

What are we payin this guy?
Pepperoni Rolls....IYKYK
My college roommate at VT introduced me.. I know.
this is a northern wv thing btw. im from beckley (well, that was the big city...) and we never heard of a pepperoni roll growing up
can confirm, we'd bring pepperoni rolls to the state swim meet in Berkley and wed get odd looks for eating just rolls.
The polish community from Pittsburgh with the Italians working the mines helped make them a thing.
I mean, theyre not bad. They're just not a "wv thing" as much as people want to say it is.
Its like telling someone from roanoke that brunswick stew is a "va thing"
I mean, tell someone from Martinsburg that
deleted, wrong martinsburg
I can't say where it originated, but I've had some very good Brunswick stew in Virginia.
Big fight about the origins, but all concerned the first stew was a squirrel meat concoction. Having eaten my share of those tree rats, I can say for a fact that squirrel makes for a very tasty stew regardless of which Brunswick was the first to name it.
I'm partial to chicken, just because that's what I'm used to. But I do like the virginia style of stew, being a carnivore and all.
Only problem with squirrel in a stew is the little bones and maybe a lead shot or two to avoid. A big thing in rural VA when I was young was "squirrel gravy", essentially the larger pieces floured and fried up then added to a gravy from the drippings to simmer a bit. Usually served on biscuits. Squirrel and venison kept us alive when I was living in Giles and finishing up at VT on the GI Bill. My daddy was a country boy from rural Tennessee and he wouldn't serve a stew without squirrel in it, starting a few rows with momma about shooting them out of the big oak in the back yard when none were in the freezer.
they're fantastic, I was eating one during my last post about them.
What's the market value for a low-mileage punter with cloth interior?
Manual or Automatic?
I hope he is automatic; all kickers should be!
Why do we need a punter? Seems like a waste
Look, I know this is hard to hear but when we're up 100-3 and we put our third stringers in for the 4th quarter, we may wind up having to punt once or twice.
Did you watch Velsitsas punt/hold?
He's out of eligibility anyway.
Cause we're Iowa now, Bro. Moor Punts!
...you probably can't hear the accent in my post...but it's there and my dogs are not happy about it.
On first reading, I thought a person named Marshall P Nathan committed and was heartened by his commitment to his middle initial although I wondered what position Mr Nathan played
I read it as Marshall P Nathan Totten and was pretty excited! A middle initial and a middle name? This guy is shoe in for the all name team.
For those of you wondering, here is the current VT All-Name Team:
Warren Maccaroni
Dick Goode
Gene Breen
Billy Babb
Aster Sizemore
Nubian Peak
Rich Fox
Sterling Wingo
George George
Buzz Nutter (a first ballot All-Name Hall of Famer)
Marshall P Nathan Totten would have been a worthy addition.
Divine Deablo and Dustin Pickle really should be on there...
Two things. One, Buzz Nutter is an amazing name. Two, he had quite the career. Drafted in the 12th round by Washington, didn't make the team, went and worked at a steel mill for a year, got back in the NFL the next year and went on to win back to back NFL championships with the Colts as part of a 12 year career. That rules.
Also, apparently the first Hokie ever drafted to the NFL. I'm sure this isn't news to lots of people on here, but it was a great ten minute wormhole for me to avoid really starting work this morning.
Was the coffee machine broken?
He's also #52 on the All-Numbers Team, although APR would like a word.
Have a few of his cards. Tough to find in good condition.
